I fought with a GCS wearing full iron and bronze armor. Its attacks were completely unable to harm me, and its webs kept me from killing it at all. I nearly starved to death during this fight because I could neither reach it or move away. When I finally broke free, I gutted the spider and was a legendary armor user.

About skin melting... well. I savescummed few times because I tried to take Desert Titan's shell. Titan was made of fire...
And about total injures, I'm gonna work about it... Let's murder more monsters!

All injuries vanish whilst fast-traveling.
Nerve damage, rotted wounds, scarred tissue and lost limbs never heal/grow back. Also kinda irrelevant to my post.
