Prosthetic limbs! Never again will you need to put up with a rolly civillian at such a dwarfed speed. Just slap one of these newfangled prosthetic legs on him and he's good as new. Obviously he'll still need a crutch to get used to it, but Dwarfy gets a new leg.

Tired of missing teeth, which happen to ALL GET SMACKED OUT OF YOUR FACE IN ONE ATTACK? Well scare your friends with your smile no more with prosthetic dentures! Warning, plaster powder teeth may be toxic.

Lost your nose in an unfortunate mining 'accident'? Never fear with COSMETIC DWARFERY. Replacing body parts in a pinch! Craftdwarves workshop > craft with plaster > NOOOOOOOOOSES

I believe the point here that I'm trying to make is that Dwarves don't always like being made fun of for their stubby bits. Here's just my little mock advertisement for what could be a pretty interesting feature. Prosthetic legs have been in the real world since the good old days, even back with Captain Pegleg the pirate. And why should Dwarves go without what the pirates had.

Their beards are far more rugged.

This may have been posted previously,

More importantly, I approve, but the prosthetic limb should provide a speed decrease, which is more severe should the dwarf be missing more than just the hand/foot or lower leg/arm.

As shown by a search for "prosthetic", this is frequently suggested:
Spoiler: tags (click to show/hide)

And noses. My guys always lose their noses.
