Proper training makes the weakest of Dwarfs into real Dwarfs. How they appear when they start is trivial.

I read somewhere that attributes can only double from their starting point. So a weak clumsy dwarf has much less potential than one which starts at higher stats.

Well I for one shove all the females into inside jobs, leave a few males to cut down trees, and shove all the other males into the military, and them with their silver war hammers have done good so far.

well Splinterz and I were talking about attributes, he went with the population mean vs static means.  Which means if they can improve, then the statistics of the population are adjusted when they do!
