Poll

How votes work (since I can't delete this poll, I'll use it for something better)

You may only vote for a specific story/game once.
You may vote on as many story/games as you want, as long as you're honest.
A story/game will be added once 6 people vote for it. The number is subject to change.
Once listed, a story/game may be removed by no less than 10 votes. It's doubtful this will occur.
Make sure you don't just vote because it's a person you like writing! Quality is a must.

Hey Jack, could I change the blurb on Blockedlance?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Also...I never noticed this before...but shouldnt Blockedlance be in the Community Fortress section?

Speaking of moving things, Morul has been completed, so the link to The Most Interesting Dwarf in the World should be moved to finished.

The only dragon I've seen in game walked into my rats nest of a fortress and died in the flames of the conflagration he started in the dining hall.  Of course, nearly every dwarf was dead by then, but we consider it a tactical victory.

Okay, moved the stories into their correct place. Now, this has been bugging me, so someone provide a blurb for Lanternwebs gogogogo.

+1 for FlameBanner. For being a story based on books about bloody cats, it is exceedingly Dwarven.

Plus, their Dwarves are somehow surviving without throats. That's hardcore.

Edit: +1 for The Captains Log too, if that's still being voted on.

I believe it went up within a few weeks of being started, so it should be there.

Another one from the folks at SA.

and a blurb.
Come join 185 drunken, belligerent, greedy jerks and the dwarfs named after them as we witness the highs, lows, battles, tragedies, amazing feats and crushing incompetence of a Dwarf Fortress succession game.

Yes, this looks like an extremely long LP. DON'T PANIC. It's probably shorter than it looks, really.

This game generated an enormous amount of reader participation, and there are lots of pieces of art, short stories and journal entries. The archivist has tried to preserve as much of this as possible, as events in the reader posts were frequently incorporated into the overseer updates. You can find any additional content below the relevant overseer post - you don't have to read it, but if you want the full picture we suggest you do.

This LP is a direct sequel to Dwarf Fortress: Headshoots, and contains major spoilers for it from the first post.

Voting for Flamebanner & Syrupleaf.

Bronzemurder is absolutely stunning. Here's another vote for it.

The beautifully illustrated tale of a fortress just finishing its first large project, when disaster strikes. Not only does it strike, it brutally murders almost the entire population. The illustrations really put this over the top.
