I completely agree with what the people above me have just said which is in no way connected with the thread title which could potentially confuse people who haven't read all 45 pages...

What? No, nothing's in that spoiler there.

http://www.longene.org/en/index.php Topical. Might raise some eyebrows.

Page won't load, all I get is:

Connection Interrupted

The document contains no data.

The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again.

And yes, I did have to copy the full error message, including formatting.

Just noticed that a ramp carved into ice isn't called an ice slope, it's called a glacial slope.

Awesome.

Spoiler: Mac (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Windows (click to show/hide)

If you have dozens of .dll errors on shutdown, don't blame windows. Blame whatever shit you've installed, and/or poor computer skills.
Actually, most of the errors are due to Windows programs/dlls, though the only one I can think of off the top of my head is Dr Watson. Sometimes programs which aren't windows, but still came with the pc, throw up an error (e.g. nvidia), but I guess that isn't really MS's fault. Then there's the mcafee (which has its own problems ) errors (also not MS's fault though)...

Seriously? I have never found a problem with OO.o, and I use it regularly :-\

But then I use OO3, so maybe that's different...

One of my annoyances is that, in order to log off, I can't just go start->log off.

I have to go start->log off->trawl through about 50 error messages saying that "this dll cannot be initialised because the windows station is shutting down" and simple "end program" boxes->wait for the taskbar to disappear->press ctrl+alt+del->click log off from the shut down menu->trawl through 50 more error messages. THEN it will log off.

This made me lol :D

Had to include a third option, or it just wouldn't be a proper forum poll.

Anyway, I'm definitely voting yes (obviously, due to the thread title). IE is nowhere near as good as Firefox, their OSs always seem annoyingly buggy, I don't see why people would pay for MS Office when OpenOffice.org is just as good if not better, as well as being free and the little advert at the bottom-left of messenger keeps popping up EVEN WHEN MESSENGER ISN'T FRIGGIN' ACTIVE (plus it has random bugs, of course).

/rant

Edit: also, winamp > media player. Just thought I should add that.
