Despite the name, this has nothing to do with poop. But, can someone teach me, or direct me to a good tutorial on editing the raws. I want to butcher me some elves. Please, and thank you!!

I'm not being a jerk, there's a really good tutorial in creature_standard. The dwarf raws are annotated marvelously.

wait, oh, I saw that he wanted a tutorial, not the elf butchering part.

For that, open entity_standard in notepad and replace this:

[ETHIC:EAT_SAPIENT_OTHER:UNTHINKABLE]

with this:

In a less blunt form, Toady leaves little to the imagination in the Dwarf raws, so if theres any questions about body parts and stuff look at there. For more advanced stuff, I suggest using well-used mods as bases first, than build on what information you gleaned to attempt to tackle anything you need to work on. Ethics are nice and simple, too, and the wiki has a nice gidline for any special things you need to know about individual tags and stuff.
