Get Plate Armor; if too heavy, then replace chainmail with plate.

Where are the good arming swords when you need them?

Get Dashie's Katana...And the strange looking Amputation Kit as I lost Excalibur. Strangely, to an explosion.

Grab the amputation kit and put on the WW1 trench helmet. Time to 'amputate' some 'infections.'

Drop bronze bars and pick up Teddys pistol.

So Im wearing two armors at the same time now, does that actually affect the game? Because if not then I might as well drop US light armor too.

((OH! I just had an idea! Hold on to the bars, I can make something with them once I get in as Steve. Do you think you could do that?))

(Sigh) Probably least usefull and least epic death retreat yet. Well at least while being in the game I kicked some flank and my Army of followers did too.
I will Waitlist as The Lone Wanderer in a yet not decided color. Well I've got plenty of time at the current pace.
In the meantime one Last Fluttershy-Art, because ... Meh I don't need an excuse for this.

Chapter 29: Fresh H.O.E.S.

King Arthur switches into Plate Armor. He then has a "conversation" with Gordon Freeman 2.0 over who should get Dashie's Katana. (4 Vs. 1) The King brings up the common "my sword just exploded" argument and Gordon decides the King should get the Katana.

Pinkamena Diane Pie straps on the WWI Trench Helmet. Then she takes the Amputation Kit, and begins fulgedazialating the bodies. (Fun Fact: That's not a word.)

Cyan Garamonde picks up Teddy's Pistol, toying with the unique weapon. He slips in into his pants.

With the looting phase complete, the remaining H.O.E.S. board the Zeppelin and flies back to Canterlot....

After several hours, the party makes it back. The soldiers escort them out of the flying vehicle. A truck rolls next to the group, while a new batch of faces step out of it...

Yes it does. The Light U.S. armor provides a small bonus, but it's weight is so minimal it's like getting a bit of extra insurance in exchange for wearing a second shirt. Now, if you equip two "heavy" sets of armor, you'll start getting major defensive bonuses, but will also gain agility penalties.

One of these faces is Sherlock Holmes! Now perhaps you were wondering how exactly the British detective got into Equestria. Listen well...
Sherlock was bored. After that last case in which he had been exposed to an intelligence-enhancing potion, he had predicted where, when, and how every single crime ever committed or would be committed, and singlehandedly abolished crime from the face of the earth. Except for one man - Steampunk Mecha Moriarty. This diabolical mechanical crook had only one thing on his mind - destroying the good detective. Knowing of his habit of ... ingesting the good sugar, he intercepted Sherlock's weekly package of cocaine and substituted it with steampunk coke, which is cocaine concentrated by about x1,000,000,000. Sherlock picked it up, unaware of the skulduggery afoot, and while he was working on his machine to harvest energy from the galactic core, ... ingested the powder for inspiration. But instead of drug overdose, something miraculous happened! Sherlock was infused with so much energy from the super-cocaine that he immediately transcended physical form! Knowing his spirit would collapse under the laws of physics if he didn't do something fast, Sherlock went onto his machine and shot himself into the galactic core and the black hole within! As he entered the portal, he fondly wished Watson goodbye. When he woke up, he was in a ruined city. He immediately went to the closest intelligent being, which turned out to be some sort of blue pony thing. After he got over the horror (Sherlock does NOT like ponies), he immediately deduced the entire situation from the way Luna sneezed and volunteered to help out. And now, here he is...Sherlock Holmes!

A pair of eyes glow with a false light from the shadow of the inside of the truck and out steps Jackie Estacado, followed by a faint whisper that doesn't seem to actually be here.

He had been stuck in another dimension from when the champion of light had escaped and trapped him in it's place, and there he had stayed for countless years, with only The Eternal Darkness as a companion. Then, somehow, the prison came under an incredible burst of power, which cracked the walls of the prison and it was those cracks that the Darkness seeped into, widening them and finally breaking free. It broke free to the birth of a sun god, the hated opposite of it's very nature.

And so it woke Jackie from his slumber, whispering into his ear of the birth of the hated being whose name was being screamed throughout the cosmos, and it made a deal with him. Kill the new sun god, and it would help him reclaim his beloved from the grip of the thing that possessed her.

And so Jackie came, bourne aloft by darkness and shadows to the spot on the battlefield where it knew where Jackie stood the best chance, with the H.O.E.S and their leader, Princess Luna.
