Well, I've already bookmarked both the Einsteinian Roulette pages, and I hope to (eventually) read all the way through them and join them then. That's what I did with this one. As for the RTD on TVTropes, the results would come out a bit differently, with [1] being a Critical Failure, [2] being a regular failure, [3] being a partial failure, [4] being a success, [5] being, well simply AMAZING, while [6] ends up being 'Trying too hard. There's examples on the first page of it.

Thanks for the warm welcome, and I will be patiently awaiting your deaths!

Thanks for the friendly welcome guys :D
I've only seen a tiny bit of ER, but if it's as good as you guys say it is then I might have to read through that game next.

The systems vary according to the RtD, but the one you presented is the most widespread usage of the d6 system, with a [3] varying from partial failure to partial success depending on the GM.

Anyway, welcome to the world of Roll to Dodge and have fun.

Edit: Oh yeah, there are also the ones like Einsteinian Roulette, in which [4] is only a partial success. Really, it depends on the level of GM sadism or the deadliness of the RtD.

Yeah. The Up-side to it is that it's really free-form. Right now, there are around four different Sub-Plots going on, involving things from Kill Sats, Dark Jetbuses, and Assassin Training. You can do anything, really. The lack of plot, however can be a bit of a downside, especially if you choose to read it through from start to finish. :(

If you want to read other good RTD's check out Roll to roll to dodge, I believe it has it's on Tropes page, and Multiworld Madness, once the greatest RTD on the internet. Both have a special place in the history of this forum though MM arugably had a bigger impact or us.

Thanks! I've noticed those are in the Hall of Fame, and this RTD will soon, considering quite a few people voted for it recently.

Multiworld Madness's GM was the one who introduced Roll to Dodge to TV Tropes, and as far as I remember he is the one behind the creation of the TVT RtD.

Cool, then I guess I have him partly to thank for learning about RTD in the first place then.

A friendly welcome to the newcomers

Twilight Sparkle doesn't react to Fluttershys questions. She seems to be busy with thinking about important stuff .. like plots and trigonometrie ... whatever Twilight normally thinks about.
So Fluttershy proceeds to do this   to calm her mind from the disturbing sights of the previous battle.

Twilight didn't seem to answer and I felt a little bit like beeing nonsensical. Hope you're Ok with that
