"Eh, go for it. I'd like it back though."
((But if you want to combine, don't you need Lagann?))

I have Lagann. Though It is currently combined with an airplane right now.
((Oh, that's right. Ignore me.))

That picture's huge, which is why I used the smaller one. Close enough.

Chapter 57, Part 2: Recruits

As the ship travels to America for the next adventure of the H.O.E.S., rumors spread about the next recruits that could be part of the team....

I'm assuming, TCM, that you would not allow me to combine with Winston Churchill's ship. Am I correct?

If you really wanted to you could, but you'd probably piss off Churchill and a bunch of English people.

Chapter 58: Rawflank!

As the fleet docks on the coast of Florida, the H.O.E.S. get a transmission.

-TRANSMISSION INCOMING-

"Huzzah~! Greetings my warriors. We have a new task for all of you: Your group has landed in Florida. As we speak, the New Confederation of America, under Jefferson Davis, has risen up against the United States. Florida is still in the hands of the United States, but Georgia is a stronghold of the Confederacy. You must travel through Alabama, Tennessee and then Kentucky, which have low Confederate influence. Travel up into Ohio, Pennsylvania and then finally to Washing D.C., where you can assist the Union. I am counting on you all. Good luck."

-TRANSMISSION END-

Twilight Sparkle looks up. "You heard the Princess, let's go! If we hurry, we can make this trip in under two weeks."

-5 MONTHS LATER-

The H.O.E.S. find themselves plodding through some small town near Montgomery, Alabama.

"Progress!"

The party travels onwards, but are stopped by a group of men on horseback. The nearby townspeople dive into their homes, shutting their doors and windows.

"Well, what do we got ourselves 'ere?"

"Why if it isn't the bandits of the Wild West, the James-Younger Posse!" Exclaims Applejack. "And that there's the man himself, it's!-"

"Jesse James!"

The outlaw tips his hat. "Nice to see someone who can recognize myself that quickly. Now, I suggest you come with us quietly, 'Lestia gotta' big bounty on your head. And if you don't come, well....I'm sure the graveyard ain't too full."

The gang pulls out their guns and point them straight at the H.O.E.S., who point their Guns/Blades/Hooves/Statue/Core Drill /Old Spice (TM) Spray right back at them.

Everyone is still, waiting for the first move. A tumbleweed rolls right between the two groups, because yeah.

"Bandits, you say? Bandits? Well, I have some news for you, gang- you're lawbreakers. And I don't like lawbreakers. So, in interest of swift justice for you, I have one answer for you, Mr. James. My father's guns. SWAT, please assist me in punishing these bastards," Roland says as he whips out his guns, opening fire on the gang in a calm fury.

Use 'Gunslinger' on Clell, Bob, and Cole and then head for cover.

I totally forgot about Roland's Justice trait, but I guess it works out for this battle. :P

Fly upward, find a nice-sized cloud, hide inside. If time remains, poke the Lee Enfield out of the bottom and take potshots at Clell Miller.

Use Lagann's comm system to call Rossiu and ask him to bring Gurren.
Protect Twilight in the meantime.

"Silly n'wah, we've killed Jamaicans thrice your size and power!"

Dagoth Ur covers himself in an ash cloud, making sure to move through it periodically, then sends out the Asinine Sleeper to stand next to Jesse James and annoy Arthur McCoy into a berserk fury.
