You gladly return the hug to Iris, and extend an arm towards your other two female companions. Diane gladly follows up on your invitation, but TW stays where she is.
The hug is still pretty sweet, but TW refusing it makes it sort of sad. Ah well, you can't have everything. You and Diane let go of eachother, while Iris remains attached to you.

Her calling you dad gives a sort of shock through you. You eyes shoot open, and you sort of freeze in place, even after Iris jumped away again to take a look at some ravens eating bodies. She's probably a bit too curious for her own good.

You want to have "the talk" right now? Pressure the girl regardless of the rough times she's going through, her past experiences with men and her psychological problems? Why can't we just enjoy what happened, express our own feelings of affection and enjoyment and let things progress naturally?

Except if you meant have Diane explain to our zombie Hitler that she is in fact not trying to eat him but trying to express affection and/or sexual attraction. Depending on how bad our amnesia is and how Diane explains it, this might end very badly. Even worse, that might lead into a discussion of how zombie sex works.

But in all seriousness I am sensing a Diane-mental-breakdown-and-internal-voices-conflict segment. I'm actually genuinely thinking dog-magic-residue, since I don't know if anyone else noticed but the relationship status with TW has been upgraded to 'Caretaker and alpha'. This only showed up during the lab, after the transformation thing.
If the brain of Zero has been changed enough to view relationships in a way more similar to a dog, then who's to say that Diane hasn't ended up the same. Since there's literally only the two who actually got turned into dogs, they have to be the alpha male and female, because it's hard to be at the bottom of a hierarchy when you are the only possible candidate.

Your ship isn't dead yet Graknorke, we just have to sabotage the relationship/shut it down by making it look like we care for TW more, then Diane might fall back on the strong arms of Snowflake if we help them build up a deep friendship, to the extend that they can. Or she may never love again or something like that.
Return and ask TW if transformation may have affected us (her included) mentally, we have no one better to ask yet.
Could throw a stick/use a laser pointer and see if Diane/TW chases it to test (jk).
