You send in your horde, first your armored guys, then the rest while you stand ready outside.
Shortly after about 200 zombies entered, you hear a loud crackling and the smell of old bacon fills the air. You face-palm, and take a look at what the problem is.
Looks like they can electrify the floor when needed. You have rubber soles on your feet, so you'll be fine, but we'll need some way to get past this with your horde. Tw solves it by making the corpses of the dead zombies lack "free electrones". You don't quite care enough to check what that means, so you just go forward.
Probably best if you just kept going so you can deal with things as they come. You leave some actors behind and give them some pistols. Your zombies are busy getting the armor for themselves, taking care not to touch the floor.
The alarms are now going off. The red lights and the siren make for an annoying place to go through. After a while, though, You enter a huge, badly lit room, with what seems to be cages along the wall.
I don't like this. The light flash on, and you see the contents of the cages. Humans, snarling and chewing on their bars, all screaming when they see you. Men and woman of all ages, children, even.
Oh my god....Best find something else, because I don't think He's here.Taking a closer look at the people inside their cages, you see that they aren't quite human anymore.
Longer arms, and a mouth full of incisors. They all look malnourished, and act like dogs in every way. Some of them even have what looks like the hind legs of a dog, but it looks more like the bones are broken to look like that. They can't support their own weight on them. Almost all of them have some sort of milky film over their eyes.
Diane is just standing there, her mouth open in shock and horror. Even TW looks scared.
On top of one of the cages, you find what seems to be research notes. You take a look at them, and discover the purpose of this crime against nature.
The notes seem to be a way of progress, but they don't go into detail.
Death penalty is a waste of human life. Need to find way to make use of bodies without incurring danger. Can't use corpses, damaged beyond use. Flushed batch( lost 30)
Found possible way to make use of them. Make them slaves, obedient. Just rewrite their minds! Just need to find way to pass mental blocks. (casualties 56)
Normal indoctrination is insufficient, need to make permanent solution. Flushed second batch of subjects.(lost 95)
Breakthrough found! Altering brain chemistry makes it easier to overcome mental defense, make them like dogs. Sell to military?
Can't function efficiently, flushed third group of experimental H9 (150 lost). Alter bodies to make them function. Again, keeping the dog thing going.
Longer arms for efficient quadrupedalism, introduce incisor mouth for better bites, increase general muscle mass. Still too docile. Consider flushing group, then make next batch.
Getting close. One subject proved to be genetically malleable enough to make perfect H9. Flush this batch, mental instability makes them unusable. You rip the paper in two, and yell in anger. The girl in the cage whimpers from it. Taking a closer look at it, you see they have signs of abuse.
A note is on the cage. Reading it gives a shiver down your spine from the implications
Carl's Bitch!A mental note of not even allowing the things that made this a reality become zombies has been added.
It seems that they are fortifying their position further up in the bunker. Otherwise they would have attacked by now.
What do you do.
