No you aren't. They might have scared him off, or captured him. Is it possible to capture a ghost?

.... Touche.
And no you don't need another worm, you just need to think strategically. Instead of trying to mass infect... which kind of already happened, you need to make a foothold and get zombies that aren't easily killed. Capture people, infect those that have traits worthy enough of joining your horde, and eat the ones that don't. Make an army of special zeds and with that, continue.

We did one time come across spirits trapped in mannequins, I don't know if thats the same as ghosts, but it does seem like trapping a ghost might be possible.

I also don't see any point in killing Diane. She's been nothing but helpful and loyal. Theresa, on the other hand, I was all in favor of killing, but the group voted against it.

But Teresa has come in handy, many times. If you had killed her, you would have died. but spirits and ghosts are the same, kind of.

We aren't Alex Mercer and we aren't ZEUS that replaced him, either.  That thing was a nigh-invulnerable virus that didn't need anything.  We're a parasite riding around in a modified but still basically human vehicle which among other things requires food.

I am concerned about Bennie but I don't have the slightest clue how to make progress on even finding out what happened to him, so there's no point me trying to make suggestions along those lines.

Zombies that aren't easily killed... sturdy helmets and body armor would be a good start.  If we can smarten them up sufficiently (or just get them to fake it effectively), and get some combat trainers in our employ, we could teach them to fight with something other than basic bum rush tactics.  I don't like our chances of taking out a military base directly, but maybe we could look up and take some retired military instructors who aren't surrounded by soldiers and materiel.  Investigating martial arts schools might also prove fruitful, though I expect we're more likely to get specialized zombies there than we are to get trainers that can pass on skill to other zombies.

Listen up: making a thing a ‼thing‼ doesn't make it more awesome or extreme.  It simply indicates the thing is on fire.  Get it right or look like a silly poser.

It's useful to keep a ‼torch‼ handy.

To get smarter zombies we need worms. To get worms we need to raid an scientist base. To raid a scientist base we need forces. To get forces we need to spit on ants.
And who knows? Maybe if we do it, an scientist will be willing to tell us how to make more worms under the promise of eternal torture... WHAT WE SHOULD HAVE DONE WITH SASHA!

Again, i didnt mean now. I mean when she becomes old and useless.

Well don't you have 1 more worm left from the base? You could make 1 smart zombie and from there, you could come up with more elaborate plans.

Eh, i would rather use that worm on ourselves.
1 Worm on each=We both have same power
We both have same power=Conflict.

We must ALWAYS make sure to have more worms inside us than any zombie we create. Currently, we have 2 worms. But we dont know how much each worm lasts, we could be stuck with 1 worm soon, and it wouldnt be absolutely an good idea...

Also, no, we arent Alex Mercer, but we can follow his ideals.
Humanity is stagnant, is diying. We give them the chance to be creatures who dont have to suffer, dont get diseases, etc etc etc.

Well from what I've been reading. He said the worm is destroyed when a new one is placed. So a worm could last a long time.
But that's not necessarily true, they are still a newborn smart zed. Just because they are smart doesn't mean they have the same powers as you, they would have to learn the things themselves.

Also, we dont have any valuable zombie to convert into smart for now. Maybe Snowflake, but we dont know if we can convert zombies.
Since the majority is opposed agaisnt triying again with Diane, and Diane would probably rebel if we do something to TW, we have to find a new companion, or get confirmed that we can convert zombies.

If we use this worm on ourselves, we will be stronger.
Being Stronger=More chances of raiding a scientist base without ploblems=More worms=Spitting on antsSmart Zombies, Power and possible formula to make them.

Also, we didnt really take that long to cause a madness in our starting village, and if the smart zombie also has the chance to do so, we may have a ploblem beetween hands if we arent clearly superior.

Well, the last comment we got about it from Kittensnot was that she would make worms from her vagina that can infest people.

it either goes to the mom or the fetus, which ever it chooses to be a better host.

and as for the smart zombie, what you do is give it a small collection of your zeds to follow its orders. They're still loyal to you and will listen to you over it. Don't let him infect anything because then they will listen to just it. You keep it in check but don't let it gain too much power.

That part still disturbs me a little.
