He's five.
I don't think he could even spell "avenged".

Never, ever ever EVER train a hero if you are a evil overlord. Basic rule, the hero will find out the "truth" and rebel, destroying you. Evil overlord list people!

Yeah, don't paint anyone as "good" or "bad" ever. Just raise him to view us as his friends/allies. Won't be hard, since we feed him, house him etc. Anyways, when we take him off his parents phrase it like we're doing something for him; teaching him how to lead etc. The parents will be happy to have their son's future secured.
Maybe Sasha would want to look after him some of the time? She likes animals right? And children are just large, manipulative animals. Though then again she maybe still has problems with us and might put undesirable ideas into his head.

Next, the manual labourers could be useful. See if they can help the construction zombies at all. Or if they can maybe train the horde at all? Could be a possibility.

Finally, as far as the humans are concerned our motivation should be to create a stronger "human race". Obviously not really all that human anymore, but better than the old humans at least; and pretty similar. Cite the brainworm research. We can make humanity better than it ever was before. Though we still want to be in charge. That's pretty obvious. That should be workable with what we've told them, which is essentially that they'll be some of the few remaining unaltered humans.

We should introduce the orphan to CasperBennie. They can keep each other entertained and hopefully out of too much trouble until we figure out what to do long-term. If they hit it off, they might even help to acclimatise the other humans to ghosts. Inform Bennie that this five year old is not to be terrorized, thank you very much.

In fact, NONE of our new subjects are to be terrorized.

Clean this place up and shore it up against intrusion.  Zombies handle the most basic of grunt work (moving supplies and garbage, lifting any collapsed heavy things that just need a lot of hands, etc), the more able-bodied of the humans do the slightly more complex tasks, in teams led by the most appropriately skilled of the experienced laborers.

Teachers, homemakers, and the older children can take inventory of and sort our resources for us, then handle light duty tasks like sweeping, spot cleaning, and food preparation for now.  While they're working on that, ask them to be thinking about ways to make this place more liveable, or alternatives that might be more suitable for them while still being large enough for our purposes.  In fact, put the same "Think about this and be ready to answer later" question to everybody.  Depending on what they already know and what they find while improving this place, they may have different, important answers.

We need secure bases to operate out of and return to, especially if we're collecting living allies and subjects.  This could become one such base. Even if not, we can use it as a practice and information-gathering tool to find out what we need to set up to keep our living underlings alive, healthy, and sufficiently comfortable that they don't revolt or just plain go crazy.

You call out to Bennie, and explain him to get friendly with the kids. He does not seem super jazzed about this.
If you start calling me the friendly ghost I'll fly up your nostrils and drown you... Also, I didn't find jack when I looked through the city. I did get some people to terrorize though, so it's all good. You're great inspiration, by the way!
Still, he gets along with the kids right quick. The parents are too busy fixing up the factory to really take care of the kids.
Diane also keeps a watchful eye on them. She has a real soft spot for kids.

Your hostages do quick work, and your kindness towards them does help a bit. You never scream, belittle or do anything unpleasant when something doesn't go according to plan.
For the rest of the day, the factory gets fortified. Sasha also gets to come out of her little room so she can take care of people who need care.
She's a medical practitioner after all, and she's more then grateful to be allowed to move again.
The day has been productive, and your survivors are a bit calmer. There's still a good deal of fear of you, however.

TW has been reclusive for most of the day. You don't know what she does or where she even is at this moment.
Evening is setting, and the sun is already touching the horizon. What do want to do?

Check the book-fridge to see if TW has been around there.
Also is food sorted at the moment? Humans need to eat quite a bit more than we do.

We should rest.  We really do need to see about subjugating or eliminating those feral zombies we created, and that seems like it could be tiring work.  We should be energetic and alert when we go to do that.  Also, if we can collect some generators, cable and fuel, we might be able to get more use out of our warehouse than we do now.

Secure our guests/hostages, then rest.  Be up bright and early tomorrow to go clean up the undead mess we made in town, and more looting.
