The man checks you and your party over. Diane looked decidedly uncomfortable, but the old man remained civil.
Right, you are all fine. But I have one question, what is wrong with the elf? Is she brain-damaged or something?
TW raises an eyebrow.
She got abused, quite badly. She just doesn't have a lot of reason to show anything surrounding emotions. If it told you how sher was abused you wouldn't believe me.
The man is fine with that answer, and the woman who yelled at you to get in steps up.

At any rate, we're happy that you know how to defend yourselves. If we saw another die then I think we would have some insanity-
You're damn right! My wife is in hysterics right now!
Your wife is always in hysterics. Why would you marry a Hysterical Dame like that is beyond me.
Guys? A dark-skinned man says, We are dealing with the living dead outside? Could we maybe, TRY TO FIND SOMETHING AGAINST THAT INSTEAD OF DEALING WITH MARRIAGES?
Alright, alright. Everyone calm down. We need a way to get out of here.

While they argue you ask your party about Bennie. They haven't seen him, but a few seconds later you spot a wet spot on the door to the closet.
You need a way to get inside tere without attracting attention.
Ghosts are fucking HATED. People who associate with them are hated almost as bad.

"Diane go with these people to look for weapons, I'l look for, un-defended positions."
Tell Diane that, try to get others to go with her and then check on Bennie.

If I may break in? We should look for weapons. Diane here has some skill in hitting things with the pointy end of a stick, so you can probably use her.
Might I ask, where she learned how to do that? She isn't some sort of aggressive kid with autism or some shit, right?
Autism doesn't work that way, you ass.
Oh, and you got yourself a damned collage degree on that, don't you? Shut up, you fucking ni-
I DO have a collage education on psychology, you racist old fuck! If you want to be a tough guy, don't try to show it to us but those shambling guys outside! Stop wasting everyone's time with the ac-
He is interrupted with a hit to the face.[getting along check=15 (bad relations between survivors is good for distractions.)]

You get an idea to go step in to establish dominance.
You hit the old man in the snout and just have Diane hold the black man down. The old one falls to the ground and the dark-skinned man doesn't struggle after being held back a bit.
Alright, alright. Both of you calm down. Tension isn't going to help any of us.
T-T-that fucking hurt! What are you? Do you have some sort of strength-enhancing ring from the pointy ears over there?!
He's just stronger then he looks. He could kill everyone in this room, I'd bet.
Well, that isn't disturbing at all...
Both parties fall silent, and the other survivors in the store look quite relieved.(roll= 20)

You order everyone to go follow Diane in a search for weapons while you stay here to maintain the barricade.
Everyone complies quickly, no doubt thanks to your earlier peace-brokering.
You can finally enter the closet and talk to Bennie.
Hey, zombie! What happened outside? They just attacked you!
What do you wish to say to Bennie?

Tell him that there's survivors and they're not getting along too well. He should probably keep himself out of the way of them though because they're prone to violence.

Go back out and see where the defense areas are; then work on thinning the hostile zombies. I mean; we can't do anything with them so...

Why not let in the horde (our horde, not the other guys!) then we can take over their fortress from the inside and work from there.

Yeah, say no idea, and send him to go find another zombie overlord or something that could be causing this.

Regardless, we are going to have to deal with some zombie infighting.

Right, so. About the zombies? I have no flippin' clue. If you could try and find whatever the hell's causing this, I'd be grateful.
How am I supposed to find out?
Try to find another smart zombie outside or something. Anything that seems like it would be a cause, you tell me.
Sounds good. Anything else?
In case you'd like to know, the survivors here are really tense. I defused an argument just now, but I don't think it'll take long before this blows up.
Should be pretty funny, though! He smirks. Right, I'm gonna go searching. If i'm not back before.... oh right. I can't die. Well, finding you shouldn't be too difficult if you move.

And with that, Bennie leaves.
You go back out of the closet, and see a zombie managed to pull his arm through a hole in the barricade. You grab his upper arm with one hand, his lower with your other, and pull.
The arm snaps off, but the zombie retaliates by hitting the barricade with his other arm, breaking some planks and making noise.(roll= 1)
You punch through a hole and smash the zombie on the floor, breaking his skull.(roll=16)
You fill up the hole with the piece of arm, and manage to fix the planks with some nearby parts. It LOOKS ok. It probably wouldn't survive a big rat.(roll= 2) (god-damn it the rolls suck suddenly.)

You hear a scream coming from farther in the store. You rush over there, and find the old man on the ground holding his hand.
There are a lot of screams going around, and you notice a decapitated zombie on the floor nearby.
You go over to Diane for an explanation.
Sup?
Old guy got bit in his hand.
How did a zombie get in?
Store clerk that was hidden in the back. I decapitated it.
It was pretty predictable that he was going to die, isn't it?
Of course, old guy nobody likes? He's the first one to go in every story.
WOULD YOU BOTH STOP MUMBLING AND HELP ME!? G-GET THE ELF! SHE CAN FIX THIS! SHE'S MAGIC, RIGHT?

You have a short whispered conversation with Theresa.
Fixable?
If you cut off the arm NOW with a clean blade, yes. I can't help with magic.

So, now what?

I'm split on this one. On one hand, we could get Diane's knife, draw a little blood from our finger with it and zombify the old guy when we remove the arm. That would blow this situation up though, into a big fight. And they outnumber us right now.

On the other, far more survivable hand, we could just help the guy. This option sounds a lot better.

Or we could bite him in the other arm to make him even and see what happens "When zombie viruses collide!".
