I suggest we release her to show that we are not without mercy.  (or at least that we spare people who talk)
After we get into the plant.
Otherwise she might have just been lying.

if her story is bogus, we can increase the pressure (she broke without even a shove) and try again. well... only if we havent killed her.

If she already gave us the truth we can still get rid of her. there is ofcourse the risk of her escaping or going rambo on us.

if shes told the truth, then I wouldnt have cared if shes dead or not, if she has lied I'd prefer us having another shot at cracking her.

No for mercy (we've prettymuch embraced evil, why go back now?), yes for detaining a little longer.

No for mercy (we've prettymuch embraced evil, why go back now?)
Laughter value.
When we get the the treatment plant, take off her armour etc, and then tell her to run downstream and warn the town. In fact, we should remove her shoes too, to make it more entertaining. It's technically giving her a chance, but she'll never be able to outrun water barefoot. All of that responsibility on her and she'll undoubtedly fail. If we're lucky she'll break from the pressure and rampage through the town, just as the infection is setting in.

Also because mercy, humanity etc etc.

This is the best plan I've ever heard.

So how are you today?

Both of these I agree!

Snowflake, drop her.
She falls down with a loud THUD. She quickly scampers back up and tries to run. Diane prevents that with a solid kick to Celeste's midriff.
Before you go, take off that armor and your shoes.
She quickly complies, leaving her in her undies. You put on the body armor and the boots.

Celeste is shivering from the cold. Seeing how you intend her to remain alive you get some clothes from some normals. They don't care about the cold anyway.
She also gets some moldy shoes. They smell like piss and nachos brought together in some horrible kind of sub-cheese monstrosity.
Get running. The next town over will probably want to know about their soon to be poisoned water.
She sputters in shock for a moment, then sprints off. She seems to be in good condition, you rarely saw people run so fast.
Well, now that that moment of sadism fun is over , what do you do now?

How are you going to get INSIDE the pump?
You need to get there before you can get your blood in there.

Similar to how we'll get to the base under the water pump, I'd assume.
There's probably a maintainence door. At worst, we can have Snowflake bust a door or wall down. But there might be something easier that we can find in the guard position.

Does anyone else think we may have let her off prematurely?

Snowflake can get us in a maintenance door.

Ya know, Celeste is a name that sounds a lot like celestia. Coincidince, or did we just lose the chance to infest a powerful being? Also, at the water treatment plant will be chlorine trifluoride. This is a very, very nasty substance, acidic, and if you set it on fire, water just makes it burn harder. Commonly used in these plants. I believe that this is a useful bit of data, as this is Bay12.

We have Word of God that the names were just added on a whim, so I guess not.
