at our current junction the point is moot, we have no worms, and Diane might not even be willing.

First things first, we need to stop the bleeding from our gunwound.

I dont think Celene will break fast and quietly enough to make an interorgation a good idea.
The biggest question right now is, Do we press on, or do we retreat? if we retreat they'll (sasha's company) will know we were here. leaving without a trace is out of the question now.

Personally, I think its too dangerous, we know too little about this place. and we're all kinds of unprepared.
My vote would go to taking Celene, and getting the hell away from the water plant.

We can try to get info out of her when we're not in a hostile facility.

on the other hand though, pulling out now will make this place even more dangerous and it will probably give sasha's company more intell to zero in on... zero.

Diane, I think it's for the best that we get out of here. You and I could both get killed.
Diane still looks troubled, but she nods and grabs Celeste, who is still panicking. Carrying Celeste back makes the journey take a long while, and it's annoying as hell how she keeps kicking and blubbering.
You take turns in carrying her, you were holding her over your shoulders and then you arrived. She lands with a thud and gets the air knocked out of her. It shut her up at least.
She gets to sit behind the drivers seat, wedged nicely next to Sasha.

You rip the gag from her mouth and she ,thankfully, has enough brains to not scream.
You sit down and try to think of what to do next when Diane looks really wracked with indecision.
Look, you don't have to choose right now. Ok? We don't have the materials and i don't want to do it unless you are completely willing. You had a hard life already.
She looks at you for a moment and then sighs and buries her head in her hands.I'm happy you didn't lie about the pain at least. They lied a lot to me about the amount of pain.
....Who did?
My mother. And the doctor...She hugs herself and you see a few tears roll down her cheeks.
How are you going to handle this? Hugz are most certainly allowed.
Also say what to do after that.

Horde: 120-ish normals.
Closest friend: Diane.

I wouldn't flat out ask about what 'they lied about' but instead just let her know she can come to talk if she feels like it.

Lets just go with a small hug, and a corny line about how the dead don't lie.
