Am I the only one who's wondering when so many people voted in the poll.
There's loads of silent followers.

After you finish murdering two people as an afterthought to your afternoon nap, you make a run towards Diane and order some zombies to carry her as you run back into the facility.
Snowflake is still hanging on to that bug-thing, so that's cool. When you manage to find a secluded spot, which wasn't that hard as most of the facility seems abandoned, you take the time to hurl again.
It ends up being nothing more then dry-heaving. Which is still not fun, but at least you keep your food.
Diane remains knocked out, and your medical knowledge (read: shaking her and mildly slapping her face) isn't enough to wake her. You can tell her where they probably injected her, but not how to wake her.

Being a coroner is kind of limiting, innit?
At any rate, while you just have to wait for the drugs to stop working, you have time to check upon TW.
What's left of her, at any rate. Her upper arms are covered in black carapace, and those wings are buzzing in Snowflake's face. He won't let go for a while, but still.
You make a small startled jump when a loud popping noise comes from her, as three large spikes have burst out of both her thighs. They share the carapace look the rest has, and don't look particulairly sharp.
Still, it can't possibly be good. You try to figure out what to do, until a zombie gives off a yell.

Some scrawny looking kid with some sort of gun appeared, and is yelling at you that he doesn't want to hurt anybody, but he needs to shoot the elf.
Probably not happening, but Snowflake tells you to listen first as you aim your gun.

Ask him what's in the gun. Best case senario, it shoots darts that will help. Worst case is he'll shoot and get killed.

Bodyblock first, then ask why.

"I wanna help with your witch-demon problem."
"How?"
"I'm gonna shoot her."
"Oh, I usually go for the slapping treatment myself but I guess shooting's about the same."

Let him shoot her as long as it's not in the head. Best case scenario it helps her and we get a pet exposition provider scientist. Worst case scenario she retaliates and kills the cute scientist, giving us more info, keeping us safe and sinking her deeper into depression once she realizes what she's done. Which works for us because the more emotionally unstable they are, the more likely it is for them to stick with us.

Oh come on, the emotionally unstable seem to be the only ones that don't try to fight us.

You stand in front of the gun, looking down on the scientist with your best death glare.
He shrinks together, and starts clenching his teeth as he forces out his exposition: You don't want to s-stand n front of this thing.
I'd rather prefer it if you didn't aim it at anybody. And if you aren't quick about it, you're gonna wish you were.
This isn't a gun! It's a dimensional locker!
Speak exposition, tiny.
L-look... Your daughter over there is... er..
You stomp the floor, causing a small rumble. If you weren't undead-ish, you'd probably have hurt your foot. The scientist jumps back, and finally performs some muzzle discipline with that "small glowy gun-shaped thing that technically isn't a gun".

OK OK! W-we've got a... a- a dimensionally enhanced person in this facility. I-i-it u-usually manifests in, uh, tentacles and somesuch. Er, she's possessed by magic-searching extradimensional residue. T-this gun will partially put her body in another dimension, so the energy will bleed out of her.
I thought you said it wasn't a gun.
Does it really matter? You daft gi-
One look at your face is enough to stop his little outburst.
And why should I fear it then?
Without extradimensional energy to bleed out, you might end up stuck there forever. You will bleed over into the other dimension, until you're completely in there. We also have reasons to believe that that dimension does not like skeletons and carbon-based life-forms in general.
Skeletons are part of-It hates skeletons a lot, ok?

I thi....I think he's leg..le...Legit. You turn around to see that Diane's awake.
Well, awake-ish. She's still drugged to high hell, but at least she's conscious.
Suddenly, you hear a loud ringing, and you can feel the intense heat from the gun being fired, even at two meters(6 feet) away.
Snowflake quickly drops TW, who seems to be... phased? She's see through now, and you can see some sort of magenta-colored flame inside her. She doesn't move, at all. It's like she's stuck in time.
The scientist is on the floor in silent pain, as his hands seem to be badly burned. For a twitchy guy like him, he handles suffering quietly.
Still, you grab him by the throat and lift him off the ground. He doesn't even scream.

Also tell him if this works we will probably have to take him in if he wishes to live a long and fulfilling life after that.

How long.
The scientist just squeaks in pain. A little motivational shake helped to loosen his tongue again, as well as the soft threat of a crushed wind-pipe.
Few.... hours....
He stops his minor struggling, and faints. Friggin' wuss. Still, he DID help you, and leaving him behind will end up with him dead. Worst case scenario, he's just a snack for the road.
You order some zombies to carry him, carefully.

C-could you help me up, Zero?
You sure?
Yeah, ye... Lemme just... Oh just be something to hang on to.
Diane hangs around your shoulders, and you just end up carrying her on piggyback. She end up napping on your shoulders, as you think of what to do next.
She's completely adorable.

You know, Diane reminds me of Misha from Katawa shoujou for some reason. Which makes me think Zero/we look like Hisao.
