I see it now. The truth of dwarfiness. It's not Elf-hate. Because you should have that anyway. Nor is it magma love. You should have that. No it is upon seeing a topic title like this, instead of, as I would on any other forum thinking:

"Is this guy on drugs?"

Instead, I think this:

"How do I get this dwarf to snort soap?"

I love DF.

A lot of creative ways of cleaning his lungs, I must say. Posts like this makes my day complete :) Question is, can a Dwarf live if you sever a lung? It is technically possible but I don't know what the raws say here...
I believe that because there are two lungs, one can be severed and not lead to death. Though that may cause A LOT of bleeding.

And was included in the Boatmurdered LP. So it's not inconceivable after all!

I have a dwarf nearly as badly injured--both arms unusable, constant dizziness, uses a crutch (how, I don't know) to walk. He was recently elected mayor. I turned off all his labors, and he's been happily meeting with diplomats ever since.

Seriously, I don't see why other people kill off their heavily injured dwarves. I find them useful to do the jobs that can't have hauling turned on, the ones that are generally not needed but still require unbusy dwarves around to do them--you know, things like brokers, mayors, lever-pullers, possibly pump operators. Burrow them someplace useful and that's that. The best broker I ever had couldn't walk at all and just dragged himself around wherever he needed to go. Never missed a caravan, that guy. Died in the great tantrum spiral of 109, of course... *snif*

Sorry, just a precaution. You never know on the internetz. or even DF. things can get wierd when you thought your favorite dorf was a man and called them such in all your bordom DF journals....
