I say that we invest in speed/strength/etc. to give us a nice starting foothold, then start pumping points into intellect. Us humans are smart, and look at what we have become. I would assume that intelligence would offer us many more possible advantages than strength or speed could.

No limit, though things get more expensive after your total stats get up to a certain point...

As for intelligence, it will allow your zombies to be smart enough to use weaponry, improvised or otherwise, though you need higher intelligence than 5 if you want to use guns effectively.

Edit: Also please note the parasite cannot takeover a dead corpse... and your corpse probably cannot fight your wife without ambushing her.
