Signed with the intense fury of a million angry goats.

But not with all their signatures.  :(
Sadly. But you know how goats are; if they can't eat it, they just stubbornly ram their head into it until it either breaks or moves. Sort of like the government in this matter.

Could somebody please repost the link to the anti-ACTA petition that you're all talking about so that I can sign it?

BTW, do we really have confirmation that Obama himself approved this?

If he did, then, God help me, I'm voting Republican in the next presidential election.

The most popular person of the party I voted for has admitted to piracy and said she'd keep doing it(And she got the second most personal votes.), the party is already against EU and ACTA yet as usual, the rest of my country bends over. As my brother says, "Welcome to the Big Brother State." Hehe, it's funny that my big brother says that.

The republicans will do much worse, how will that help?

The European Union has signed ACTA, right? Once it comes in force, do I need to delete everything from my mobile phone and laptop before trying to cross the border into neighboring Poland?

ACTA and SOPA makes me incredibly proud of the fact that I live in Belarus, which is constantly accused of censorship and human rights violations. The fact that the staunch protectors of human rights and press freedom - the USA and EU are passing laws violating human rights and press freedom is quite symbolic, don't you think?

Indeed, imagine Ron Paul or Rick Perry in Obama's current position, they would do the exact same thing and then proceed to construct a poorly organized gestapo to enforce it.

As I understand it, the EU Parliament has yet to sign it into law (is that the right term for a treaty?). I don't know what the ceremony was about earlier this week.

Most of the EU member states has already signed ACTA on Jan 26. In order for the law to come in force, they need to ratify it, though.

June 14th. If it passes then, we'll end up with the same problems as America.
