Like a slim gazelle, Leubarts jumps across the deadly pit. Soon he finds crossroads, the tunnels leading east and north. But there's a zombie! Clad in adventurer's gear, old and rotten, the undead shambles and moans, noticing Leubarts' presence.

Turn 9:

Terkiey:

Terkiey arrived at crossroads leading in all four directions.

With a hiss, a vicious snake slides toward Terkiey!

Edio:

With a slash, several large globs of blood get detached, splash on the floor and dry up rather quickly. The elemental looks now looks smaller, and tries to retaliate - Edio easily evades again.

Blood Elemental: -1 HP!

Nora:

Nora quickly arrives at some weird contraption. It is a fence, or rather a tight net, made of buzzing, crimson beams of energy and she can feel the heat even from few steps away. The beams shoot out from small holes, and many of them are reflected via small mirrors that seem to be placed on small movable gears. This looks like a puzzle of some sorts.

Leubarts:

Defilling the corpse are we? [treasure roll: 33]

Leubarts found few old coins in one of zombie's pockets.

Ahahahahaha! The security measures grow ever bolder as we near the true wealth of the tomb!

Terkiey:

With a single whipslash, the snake drops dead. Terkiey finds a lot of bloody tissue.

Edio:

Another strike, another load of blood flies off the elemental, which is noticeably smaller. Almost whole tunnel is covered in dried or drying up blood. The elemental weakly hits at Edio, but the adventurer dodges yet again.

Nora:

[disarm roll: 56]

Nora was able to move few beams around, but without any positive results.

Leubarts:

Five seconds later Leubarts stumbles upon turn to the North.

The principle is sound, and with such a fiendish defence, whatever lies beyond must be of great value...
Though perhaps an advantage not intended by the designers is needed to get through this puzzle in a speedy manner.

Nora investigates the copper jewellery she has collected: can any of it be used as a makeshift mirror? If so, she will use it to make solving the puzzle easier. If not, she will give solving the puzzle another shot anyway.

E: Oh, and if she can move enough beams around to get a fairly but-not-entirely clear path through, she will try to get through anyway, all 'Spy movie don't touch the lasers' style. You know. Acrobatically.
