You know, that would fit with what I saw. And the dwarf's and stony's would probably also fit in somewhere with mine.
Still, enough about doom and gloom, we have a new level and powers to choose! Right now, I'm torn between these two:
Color Spray Wizard Attack 3
A brilliant blast of flashing colors springs from your outstretched
fingers, knocking nearby enemies senseless.
Encounter ✦ Arcane, Implement, Radiant
Standard Action Close blast 5
Target: Each creature in blast
Attack: Intelligence vs. Will
Hit: 1d6 + Intelligence modifier radiant damage, and the
target is dazed until the end of your next turn.
Icy Rays Wizard Attack 3
You fire two bolts of brilliant blue-white energy. A thin path of
frost appears on the ground below each one before fading away.
Encounter ✦ Arcane, Cold, Implement
Standard Action Ranged 10
Targets: One or two creatures
Attack: Intelligence vs. Reflex, one attack per target
Hit: 1d10 + Intelligence modifier cold damage, and the target
is immobilized until the end of your next turn.
Color spray is good because it's radiant damage and targets will in an AoE, with a daze effect. But, its a close ranged attack and does little damage.
Icy Rays however, are a ranged attack with superior damage and range, and it immobilizes targets on hit. But, it targets reflex which I have covered and only targets 1 or 2 people.
EDIT: Just looked and it seems that Dazed is better than Immobilized. The second just stops them from moving, but they can still teleport, be pushed, pulled or slide. Dazed gives combat advantage to attackers on the victim, prevents the victim from flanking, disables the ability to do immediate interupts or opportunity actions and can take only one action a turn.
To be frank, Immobilized is Dazed's bitch. But Icy Rays has both better damage and range and is party friendly at the cost of less targets and not attacking will defense, which is awesome. Opinions?
