So we killed it. The elf failed his saves like eighty times so what should have been a little damage turned into a ton. And I got a new shield. And our total monies is now 1298gp 7sp. And some of you guys really need to find out how much money you have.

Yes, blame the elf.  The elf that was being rolled by the dm I'm sure.

Come on man. You took more damage from a ongoing effect then everyone else in the whole campaign combined. Obviously you rolled a wuss.

You also missed just about every attack near the end. Even when you had combat advantage. We were half-worried that you'd die from ongoing acid damage.

Oh, Droogh was controlled by the DM as well, and he did pretty good. It just wasn't Mahtan's night :P

Yep, it was a good session. I love being a wizard and just messing with the DM with status effects. Can't wait to take on crowds and fully unleash my spells. I will mess their shit up like you won't believe (As long as I'm high up in the initiative table).

First encounter was 767xp

Second was 1000

That's 353xp each.

Assuming I have the proper rulebook on screen, we should only need another 600 or so xp to hit level 3. These lower levels are exciting!

Assuming that we keep being okay at the game, I think we should keep up the fast pace when it comes to leveling. The reason we are so close I believe was that the things we have been fighting have been stepping it up a notch, thus giving us more exp when we win. That last guy was what? A level four?

5 actually.  And yeah, you're leveling up faster this time because we're getting slightly more fights per session (So far the only major cluster of fights was the first dungeon) and yeah, because I'm getting more comfortable taking off the baby gloves.  I'm always afraid of killing players, so the fights are always a little weak.  That's part of the reason level 1 took so long.  This time I'm throwing actually challenging stuff at you, so you're going faster.

It also makes us think more carefully about how we go about fights, and therefore makes things more fun! Challenge is good, but it's a hard thing to get right at times.
