I had 20 gold and 8 silver left over from the beginning cash. However, I don't know how much I should have from the gold gotten from the bullywug's hideout.

Session tomorrow.  Are you excited?  I'm excited.  Interesting stuff will be happening in the coming sessions, and I think I'm finally starting to get a firm lock on the monster difficulty your party needs, so you shouldn't be plowing through encounters like you have been, which'll be fun.

Also, you got 400xp (total) from the first encounter with the sea goblins, and 550xp (total) from the encounter with the dragon and its escorts.  Last session had 950xp total.  That's 190xp each.

Also, I"m almost glad you guys managed to circumvent every skill challenge so far except the one.  I'd heard skill challenges were wonky, but seriously.  Skills in general are not handled well by 4e, which seems to prefer the, "If success is more interesting than failure, just let them win and don't tell them it was automatic" approach, which doesn't work well online.  Offline I can roll meaningless dice behind the screen.  Online, nah.

You can always do hidden rolls, right? I remember you did some for saving throws, and we couldn't see the results.

I experimented with it, but it basically comes down to saying "I'm rolling dice, just trust me"

Ready and able. Someone shoot a firecracker at Zako's house to make sure he makes it.

So there's a lot of storms around, including potentially tornadey storms, so if I suddenly go unresponsive or disconnect and don't come back, I'm probably hiding in a bathtub or something.

Wow, that was a great boss. Definately more challenging than the last ones. Who should post the log of this session?

I'm on it.

Well, let's see. We started by getting ambushed by a bunch of ugly creepy-crawlies that went all xenomorph and burst out of dead animals. We killed them all and it took awhile, but the fight didn't go so bad. Not sure how much XP we got from that fight, but no loot at all.

We then reached the goblin camp, and after a night of eating roast meat we met with the chief/tribal shaman named Weird Moon V. He told us (through his interpreter, Talks like Human) that his ancestor, the original Weird Moon, used to be a chaotic murder-people goblin just like the rest of their race, when he discovered something called the Ivory Door. Stepping through that door, he saw visions of the ancient past when goblins were used as disposable cannon fodder for evil monsters. After that, Weird Moon founded his own clan over the site of the Ivory Door, and they became peaceful.

When we showed Weird Moon V the letter with his clan's symbol, he reluctantly told us about a group of outcasts. However, he refused to tell outsiders anything else, and so we promised to undertake his clan's membership ritual. Our first task was to slay the "god" of the creepy crawlies from before, the Beast with 1000 Maws.

It turns out the Beast was a large burrowing monster that constantly gave birth to tinier monsters. Droogh and Rider charged in For Massive Damage, while everyone else tried to catch up or kill the small beasts. The Beast itself could burrow out of harm's way and had a variety of painful attacks. It also had a pretty large health bar, as three daily attacks barely brought it down to bloodied. Once it was bloodied though, it burrowed again and recharged all of it's special attacks, leaving a bunch of the vermin to kill. Every single healing move, daily, and encounter powers were used, and the fight lasted 2 hours. Pretty much everyone in the battle ended up bloodied at least once, except for Aramil who managed to use a shield spell to block one last powerful attack (it was actually pretty badass). Finally, Anakha brought it down with his halberd.

Aramil (of course) began looking for ritual components, but there weren't any. We did find some decent loot though: 200sp, 150gp, and a heavy shield that can boost the power of healing effects (this went to Rider, as he's the only one in the group that uses shields). Now we're heading back to the goblin camp to recuperate, and we'll get there on Sunday. Next step in the membership ritual: vision quest through the Ivory Door! How exciting!

So we killed it. The elf failed his saves like eighty times so what should have been a little damage turned into a ton. And I got a new shield. And our total monies is now 1298gp 7sp. And some of you guys really need to find out how much money you have.
