Pokemon Tabletop Adventures: Dryspell
« on: January 26, 2012, 10:57:53 pm »

This will be a maptools campaign run my myself and Kujiun, once again staring everybodies secret (or not so secret) childhood (or adult) passion: Pokemon!

This campaign will be set in an 1920's prohibition style setting and will feature three Waring factions. Each player will make one character for each faction and we will cycle through them as we get bored, want to skip some travel time, or want to put off an important event for one faction until all players are present.

Each PC starts at Trainer Level 5 with two level 10 Pokemon capable of evolution. Each PC also gets a couple boons from their faction to be invoked during character creation, or later.

For full details on factions, faction boons, as well as a lot of setting information for use in character backgrounds check out this Google Doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Oi3eapNUp-cWPVrQpV4tMMMYkhBznXNDEJc2ztdUPfc/edit

Yo! I'm Kuji, and I'm going to take the first reply for the systematic needs.

Alright, first off is the system. You can find it in TWO places!

http://pokemontabletop.wikidot.com/start for all your trainer needs (well, most, not all, but they're getting there)
http://forums.pokemontabletop.com/site/ for everything else! (we always play the latest version, barring circumstances)

Jesus goodness, not even pretending to create characters.

Also, D, if you have your character genned up, you need to send them to me. You also have the same warning about optimizing that I gave Taricus.

Actually finished, and I just sent it to WS, redirecting it you I guess.

Also, warning about optimization?  ???

Taricus didn't tell me anything about that when I spoke to him last night, and I missed the session.

Very simple.

If you do it ONCE in play, I will beat your character to the ground, leaving him/her for dead and/or ban you from the game on the spot.

Also, a special warning to you. IF I HAVE TO BULLSHIT SOMETHING, DO NOT FACTCHECK IT.

Hmm, I assume you mean doing extreme optimization, not merely making a competent character.

Aside: I'm just considering what I'll make, and made the post to make it easier to find the thread later. The character shall be done quite soon :P

Of course. I had a feeling that was implied.

EDIT: kotodes.wikidot.com now points you to the Dryspell page.

EDIT 2: Wow, when did Authority Figure get that huge of a buff?

Should have been more clear D, but the bonus feats still need a TL. You just get to ingore the requirements is all. Make a few small changes relating to that, and send em in to Kuji.

Eh, do I have to redo and send the entire thing?

I'm pretty sure the only change is to delete my bonus for Jean, and Morty takes Connection instead of Egg Hatcher.

Just make those changes and send it to Kuji. He is the one taking care of the character sheets.

Oh, by the way.

Your bonus feat counts as a Jack. If you choose to go into the class you Jacked into before you use up your fourth class slot, it costs one feat, as normal.

EDIT: CEM page done. You can access it from the main page.

EDIT 2: BLUH BLUH IT'S EARLY IN THE MORNING

EDIT 3: You know, entering these characters makes me feel like the no-upkeep homebrew clause is becoming way too abused.
