@SC: Ahh, how could I live with myself then?  ;)

@Theo: Go go super skill monkey!

It should be interesting to see how he gets along our multi-racial Elven clan family.

And yeah, Zarus is pretty much the 'Go Humans' God, who seems to me to be Lawful Evil. His morals all apply to 'only if you follow the laws of Zarus". :P

Beat ya to it awhile back. >:3

EDIT: Also, yeah, good luck getting along with the party. There's literally only two humans. XD There's four elves (one with aberration blood), two celestials, two half-dragons (well, one half-dragon and one Dragon Disciple 5, but he'll be a half-dragon in five levels), a dwarf, a doppelganger, a drow, a half-elf, a trio of Petals, and I'm sure I'm forgetting someone.

Eh... Wheatly, Joshua, Scion, 25 sailors, Maximin, Riche are all human, despite being NPCs. Azacar too.

Sky, you know I never count NPCs. :P To be fair all of them except Wheatly and Azacar are easy to forget about because they never really do anything. I think Riche has had maybe one line of dialogue. >.>

I almost forgot to ask about something. Since I plan to use the divine Aptitude ability of the chameleon, I need to know if I need a high wisdom score to actually cast divine spells. If I do, I'll need to shift my abilitys around so that I have at least 12 wisdom.  :-\

You always need a high enough spellcasting ability score, unless it specifically says you don't.

Okay, then. I shifted around my ability scores a bit, and now everything should be fine. :D

You have no idea how glad I am about the the ability bonus chameleons get, otherwise this would be a logistical nightmare.

I hope you don't intend to be using any offensive divine spells like that. Your DC is going to be, what, 13? Max?
Then again, I think it was the Factotum that can do an octuple-shuriken sneak attack combo, so I dunno, maybe you can make this work.

Actually, it's more about the buffing. I won't be able to do any DMM shenanigans, but I still get stuff like divine power, bull's strength, protection from energy etc. And since I won't be able to blast, I can fill all of my slots with them.

You might want to reconsider that character build. Bull's strength is a nice spell, but most melee characters already have belts of giant's strength, or gauntlets of ogre's strength which don't stack. If someone has a +4 item in the stat you're boosting then it might not even have any effect because enhancement bonuses don't stack.

Protection from energy however is still useful, but hardly worth building an entire character around. If you want to go for a divine magic buffer go for druid. If you do that you can have an animal companion to deal some damage while you use buffing spells, which druids have a lot of. Natural Bond from Complete Adventurer is nice to get a non-standard animal companion (Dinosaurs? Dinosaurs.) without taking as big a hit.

EDIT: So are Daero, Luke, and Neciel just passing through the gates, or are they going to get stopped as well?

The buffing stuff is actually just something on the side. I can change my abtitude every day. Chameleons can be trapfinders one day, wizards the next, fighters or clerics. It's all just minor bonuses, to do one specific thing better for one day. I'm still a skillmonkey and have enough other things to make up for the fact that my buffs are rather weak.  ;)

Edit: I might wanna pick up some skill tricks though. Anyone know any good ones?

Bagh! I'm a complete idiot! I just realised I took able learner, which means I haven't spent my skill points fully yet.

Edit: Are skill tricks approved btw? Some of them look pretty useful, and I have a few spare skill points lying around.

Editē: Oh well, it's finished now, without any skill tricks. Here's the fixed version.
