@Adwarf: Yeah, I would think so...but!

If you want a Dragon Ally, we sort of made friends with a Black Dragon hatchling awhile back we found in a Necromancers tower.

I assume he's still flying around the ship, since Sky never mentioned him again. :P

Sweet then I can get Dragon Breath, and still get the Dragon Ally.

Reason I banned Leadership, like many others : if you are a 15th level character with +0 to Charisma, you could potentially have some 20 1st level characters tagging along... and that doesn't make sense >.> Magic Missile spam go!

The Black Dragon hanging around is waaaaaaaaaaaay more stronger than any cohort you could get - he's an Young Adult iirc, and with Dragon Ally you can only get up to young, or juvenile.

You could still limit how many people they get, and that dragon is mine! One way or another!

I think that Leadership is not going to happen. I have Luke and Neciel, which I was hoping to use together in battle, but Sky said no to that. In fact she said that we're only allowed one character per encounter for battle pacing. Too many PCs means more monsters which would take so much more time to finish.

We have up to seven characters at one time... seven is 33% over the recommended daily PC value!
Also, yeah, too many PCs equals either (a) the monsters are pwned (b) you are killed by level-appropriate-but-not-really monsters or (c) I increase the number of monsters and you do the same thing over a longer time with less fun and more slaughter.

So, is sitting on the mast a seriously bad idea for two people that can fly? I've never really been on a ship with sails. I know that they move, but they're on the open seas. Chances are that the mast wouldn't be swinging often.

Ah, but you see, the masts have a seriously huge gust going over them at all times, except when the ship isn't sailing. The farther you go from a windbreaker, the stronger the apparent wind becomes. Also, the sails are noisy, ruffle a lot, and there is no third reason.

EDIT : I'd recommend the castles.

EDIT 1.5 : Come on y'all to #Trailsend! :D

A: The DM must give it to you.

I've been roused and forced into a semblence of someone who wants to go somewhere on Saturday despite it being not fun at all! D:

So no log yet.

The three questions demand to be answered!
(1) How wassit?
(2) Things to fix?
(3) How were the various NPCs like?

Also,

... (though I highly doubt it) is anyone open for either a minisession or a short Noire-trip for maybe a couple hours in the evening? The exact time I don't know, but about 5 o'clock.

If we have say, three or four we'll go with Noire; elsewise we go with encounter.

My private things to fix are...: Rudra didn't get much to do! D:
Also the Players are really good at forcing DMs to change plans >_<
Finally, writing stuff is hard!

Depending on when the mini-session is I might be up for it. I think I'll be leaving for a friend's at 5pm your time, but before that I'm free.

EDIT: FACEPALM. Nope can't make it.

1. I liked it, and with a non-optimized character the tree fight was challenging, which was wonderful. It was also a sign that maybe Neciel is not as useful in battle as I was hoping. 2 Terrible Secrets and 6 Unlucks can only go so far. I found it funny how we ignored a lot of NPCs. 'Don't worry dood, we'll kill that guy.' Ignores loot. Or the NPCs that started to walk away because we ignored them for way too long. That was funny, but also a sign that we talk too much sometimes.

2.Things to fix? Maybe the elf encounter being a 'oh crap it's the heroes' moment. They were seriously not a challenge. With the surprise round I mowed down someone with 126 hp before he could move. The scary thing is that I didn't full-attack.

3. I didn't like Ta'ldin(?) talking so much, but then again it made me want to kill him all the more, so... job well done. Salir was a bit of a nasty person, but then again I think it was a hint that maybe they were more evil than they were letting on.

Guess you can't come, then ^^;

This's why pickups aren't good! xD

I have a bunch of stuff to do today, but I'm sure 5's a certain.

I may be able to make the mini-session.

1 & 2.) A lot of fun, and actually challenging which was quite a change from what I'm used to so job well done there. The interrogation part took way to long though in my opinion, towards the end I just wanted to walk over and kill to end the thing.

3.) I would have liked it if the elven scouts we helped had helped us in return, plus us talking the other elves off the field :P that is a bit extreme.

I'm not certain if I can make it or not. I don't know my plans for the day. :\ If I can, I'll be there, but... :\

I could probably make it. Might run into conflict with my Sho's D&D game.

But, seems we got a lot of 'meh', so I'm not sure if I should commit.  :-\

Edit:

The three questions demand to be answered!

(1) The plant monster fight was a decent challenge-it required alot of planning and smart positioning. Also, Tactical Rhino use ftw. :3
(2) Second fight seemed a bit rushed through, though I sense it was on purpose. Bael would have liked to take the fight to those Paladins of Tyranny, you know.
(3) I like how Bael talked down the one Elf from fighting. That's something in-character he would much rather do than killing anyone, and I appreciate your efforts to make some Npc's more intelligent than "attack, attack, attack D: ' :P
