Rae looks sad D: All the trees are broken... It makes my heart sad too. Que triste! D:

Another thing I've learned is that 'player races with class levels are NOT class levels = CR,' and 'Think you've got enough HP to be a boss enemy? Think again. Rethought it? Nope, not enough.'

...Hence why Bano had 240 HP but only 16 Hit Die. Even for max rolls, he would need d15s, and they don't even exist! If they were average rolls, d30s.

To clarify, the magic dice are two six sided die, and one always rolls a one while the other always rolls a six. They are normal white ivory die. They are not loaded.

((Also, sadly(?) Kanesrae can't be grappled! D:))

Argh, there go all those points I put into Escape Artist. :P Wish I'd realized FoM had that effect (I just thought it negated spells like Hold (X), Grease, Web, etc.), then I could have used those points elsewhere... Also of note in the new pog is she isn't wearing earrings anymore either. ^^^ I do like the fact that even though I changed most of the things about her, it's still recognizably the same person. And yes, symbolic background is symbolic. :P

For comparison purposes:

You're pog-making skill is commendable; it's no wonder most of the characters have pogs made by you! Whenever I try and draw the same person twice, I end up making their proportions look all weird. I also seem to misplace facial features at that point where they're just accurate enough to be obviously wrong, but hard to find the actual errors.

@Skyrunner: Is the weapon idea I posted earlier acceptable? The two-bladed-sword-detaching-into-two-shortswords one?

Thanks, Araph. (To be fair, I really only did my characters, Dwarmin's characters, and Auvergne (EDIT: And Wheatly, forgot about that >.>); Fool did both Luke and Saint.) ^^^ Also, wanted to address what Sky said about Bano real fast: I don't mind enemies having a little extra HP, since it makes it more satisfying when we finally take them down and it's a much better solution than, say, buffing their BAB, damage, SR, and AC to compensate for only having like 50 HP. >.> (Different story if it's a wizard or sorcerer using a bunch of spells to buff themselves to make up for low HP and stats, but you get my meaning. ^^^) Another question: could Anya make Arcane Knowledge checks to figure out the dice's enchantment and change it so they throw whatever number she wants them to (maybe with a Will check)? Fixing gambling games could never be more fun. :3

Spoiler: Level logs (click to show/hide)

So how will mounted combat work? The horse is considered large, and I'm using a reach weapon. It says that I can occupy the same space as the horse for simplicity, so would I have a 10 ft circle around the horse (basically it's attack range without adjacent squares)?

EDIT: Before I forget the Anarose modification is not worth +6 in enchantments. The damage increase is 1d8 -> 2d10. Let's compare damage differences of a +5 Trident and the +1 Anarose Trident (considered a +7 weapon).

1d8+5 is 6-13 with an average of 9, and 2d10+1 is 3-21 with an average of... 12 with a loss of the potential +4 to attack rolls. Once you add another enchantment to bring it up to +7 it becomes obvious that it isn't rated correctly.

A +5 Collision Trident (a +7 weapon) deals 1d8+10 (11-18) with an average of 14 and it still has a +5 to attack rolls.

I would consider maybe lowering the enchantment rating for that. Maybe to +3 (averages 16 damage).

I got DC'd no less than 317 times during the session(s), had ridiculous amounts of lag, missed about half the dialogue, and had to ask (what did I miss) four million times, so I asked Sky to save the log and send it to me to clean up. But hey, mistakes happen. Best summary is to read Rudra, Toman, and Rae's journals. :D

I'd like to claim the Bracers of Armor and the 2 arcane scrolls...

Rudra levels up! A new level of ludicrousness is attained!
I can now use my wards as an immediate action. I am now a walking zone of screw you. Oh, and my newest veil's damage rating? DC 26 fort save versus instant death. Or, 1d6 con damage on a save. Worthless against some enemies, utterly broken against others.
Oh, and 6th level spells. Did I mention I can use Quickened Disintegrate?

I'm just going to take the average roll for this level up and the last one, because I keep forgetting to roll my new hps during the sessions. So, 2 for last level and 3 for this level, plus con mod. Fair, yeah?

EDIT: I'm going to be using Spell Retraining ((PHB II page 194)) to switch some of my spells in my book around, if that's cool with the DM. We're in Anarose's Library, so it's at least partially justified  :P
I'm also casting Permanency with Tongues, Comprehend Languages, Darkvision, and Detect Magic. Rudra now reads and speaks every language that can be spoken or conveyed in writing, and can focus at any time to see magic emanations. (Cost a bunch of exp though... oh well. Worth it to never have to worry about preparing those spells again  :D)

I thought about taking Permanency and doing that with Anya, myself. ^^^ Also, how do you have Quickened Disintegrate? O.o Isn't that like a Level 9 spell? (L6 + 3 spell levels for Quicken, right? Or is it +4 SL for Quicken? I don't remember because I don't plan on using it; metamagic spells take the whole round to cast anyway so Quicken is pretty much useless for Anya. :P)

My Magical Trickster levels allows me to instantaneously apply one of my metamagic feats to a spell as I cast it, without change in casting time or using a higher-level spell slot. It only works for metamagic feats with a level adjustment up to +4 (Quicken Spell is indeed SL +4) and only once per day, and I had to give up a level of caster progression to do it, but... I can do Quickened Disintegrate!  :o

Seriously? That's a pretty sweet ability. o.o; I'm guessing it only works for wizards, though. Ah... I guess what you get in convenience you lose in versatility...

No, it would work for sorcerers too. Check out Magical Tricksters in Complete Scoundrel sometime.

Wizards are without debate the most powerful in the game. O_o

@Skyrunner: Is the weapon idea I posted earlier acceptable? The two-bladed-sword-detaching-into-two-shortswords one?

Why not? :3

Unless some evil NPC decides to randomly hit everyone with an area Dispel. ;3

I would think so. Just assume that you are the horse, but your reach is the same.

EDIT: Before I forget the Anarose modification is not worth +6 in enchantments. The damage increase is 1d8 -> 2d10. Let's compare damage differences of a +5 Trident and the +1 Anarose Trident (considered a +7 weapon).

-snipped lots of calculation-

Well... first, remember that +5 weapons are not going to be available everywhere O_o

Second, change it to be worth +3 then.

This week's session will have lots and lots of references to the reason these forums exist.

For example, let us see the Boatmurdered Elephant.
Pog : E

It is a Huge animal with average 130 HP.
It has a BAB of +11/+29. It is immune to lava. It has Spell Resistance, and various elemental resistances. It has DR. It has high STR. It congregates in herds of 1-5 Boatmurded Elephants and 6~20 Elephants. It has a CR of 11.

I wonder ... why did the Boatmurdered Elephant evolve to be resistant to lava? ;3
