Well... unless you were shooting into an ooze or something, you probably can recover all arrows.

The D&D DMG/PHB assumes that ammo is very fragile, which it isn't. I'd say that if you have the Craft skill, you recover 100% of all arrows, and if you don't have it, 10% of the arrows is lost due to damage.

Also, enchanted arrows are fragile, so they disappear >.> Which makes me ask why you didn't loot PunPun's +1 Brilliant arrows.

I took that as including his magic arrows, yes. :P

Hmm, good point :3

...They were still masterwork arrows, though. 47 free steel arrows!

Eh, I'll be hanging around if you get something going. It's a truly rotten day outside, and I've nothing better to do. :P

Hopefully we can get a few others interested today.

Mmm, might as well come into the server and chat some? :3

EDIT -
(Server's up)

As an unrelated thing, why are the forums so quiet? O_o

Sorry, I can't play in the session today; if it's still running in... let's see... 2 hours, I'll be able to join then and play for the rest of it.

(1) Limit to 4th level spells?
(2) Try to focus the class from a generalist to a specialist
(3) Try to see if the effect you desire can be done with existing material

Another factor in my swift refusal of this proposed character is because the Hero has no theme other than being generally badass.
I got rid of 5th level spells now. The reason I made it be a generalist is because I automatically default to making gishes, and I was trying to make a class that would remove the necessity for multiclassing. If you want me to stop finagling with the homebrewed stuff and use already made stuff, I'll stop, though.

I don't have much against homebrew in general: I think we have at least two homebrew characters. Homebrew is actually more diverse than core, but has the problem of the possibility of brokenness.

What I was talking about in the Hero is instead of having archetypes (fun as they are :3), why don't you make a class that tailors to what you expect at each level? Also, adding fluff will make it more attractive - both Spirit Detective and Windblade have a decent amount of fluff.

EDIT : Meh, I should have jumped for the session earlier >.> Now I can't D:
Oh, well

What exactly do you mean by this? Like, every level has different, unrelated abilities that fit with the archetypes, or...?

To the fluff generator! *Swooshing flight sound*

Uhh, instead of flexibility to change between archetypes, put it so like 'lvls 1~say, 10 act like the wizard archetype', then 'lvs 11~16' act like the rogue, then 'lvs17~20' are fighter.

Also note that having fighter and rogue together is probably useless, because Evasion needs light armor, meaning Fighters lose one of their precious few perks.

@The fluff part - Naming the class not 'Hero' will help a lot :3

EDIT : I forgot to mention in Winterer's description that it was light for a bastard sword due to its material, so no exotic proficiency needed :P Still, if Tali wants an axe, she'll get one.

Isn't that exactly like multiclassing, just without the penalty?

If doing that, why not just rule out the penalty as in Pathfinder d20?

@Soli: I think I've mentioned it a few times. We don't really seem to be paying attention to multiclassing XP penalties here. I've never played a game that bothered with them.

Also, will you be able to make next session, Solifuge? We've been wondering when you'll be able to attend and bring your Paladin. :P

Okay - here's the deal. I have exactly one hour to do Maptools. Anyone who can manage it ? We'll jump straight in into that Grey Render Zombie one... Hopefully. Server will be up.

Meh, it was too long a scenario for 1 hour. ((I was hoping Anya would make the save...))

The answer - every single one was an illusion except for Necro 1. They can't actually harm you.
Which is why they kept using non-harmful, illusion - school spells only...

Todays XP  -  1100 for Tali and Kanesrae. 800 for everyone else.

Also, do you think jumping overboard is considered harmful?
Finally - I hope no-one was angry at me >.> This is why you should never let me DM without a fully thought out session!

On the other hand, Suggestion sounds like quite a fun spell O_o...

Nah, you warned us it would only be an hour session. I'm not bothered by it.

I'd like a chance to finish it proper next time, though.

Also, it depends how many ranks Wheatley has in swim. :P
