:( Too bad I'm at college and not home. I can sneak in posts but I don't have MapTools here.

Nah, that'll be way too cheap :P

Do you want Healbot Wheatly to come with you?
Pfff, nah. Who needs survival? :P

:(

EDIT: Is the server going up? I don't see it on the Maptools list.

Going up in three, two, one...

Eep, session over.

(1) The 'waves' strategy shall be implemented from the next battle onwards.
(2) Any thoughts about this mini-session cut short? Things to fix?
(3) Too many mobs! @_@

Also, the first riddle thing will be up on the NPC thread.

XP will be given out shortly.

I missed the ending of the session. Exactly what happened? Was it another disconnect?

(3) Too many mobs! @_@
So true.

That was fun, though! I like being a higher level wizard, teleporting around and Cone of Colding birdmen into oblivion! Oddly, I needed more direct damage spells...

And yeah, I got randomly disconnected as well.

Heh, Dad came home.

I forgot the tip that some guide had : If you want hordes of monsters, send them in in waves.

@Araph - I concur :P Why didn't you shoot fireballs!

XP : 1500 for V, Toman, and Fool. 1400 for everyone else.

Also, like I said, I'll be putting up the first riddle thing soon.

@Araph - Being mid level is much more fun then being 1st level in some aspects, especially mages.

Level-up time. ^^^

Toman is now Fighter 9 / Bard 1 / Dragon Disciple 2. I put the level 12 stat increase in Strength, and got +2 Strength for DD 2. My 5 skill points went into two ranks in Listen and Spot and one rank in Diplomacy. Toman gained 8+4 Con HP this level. BAB went up by one. Fort and Will saves rose by 1. I took Cunning Dodge as my level 12 feat, which lets Toman use his Int instead of Dex for Reflex and Tumble. Also, I'm buying him a cloak like Rae has (+2 to all saves for 4k) 'cause he needs it. >.>

Using your intelligence to dodge! :P

It kinda sounds silly in real life terms, but meh. D&D.

@SC: If you wait for Ria to gain 1000 more XP, I'm taking Craft Wonderous Item on my 12th level, I can save you 1000G on that. :P

@Araph - I concur :P Why didn't you shoot fireballs!
Because I wanted to be Batman. It doesn't work so well when their are hordes of enemies and two party members.  ::)

Also, like I said, I'll be putting up the first riddle thing soon.

Absolutely agree about the level thing; what's this about a riddle, though?

@SC: If you wait for Ria to gain 1000 more XP, I'm taking Craft Wonderous Item on my 12th level, I can save you 1000G on that. :P
Just so you know, I have the Craft Wondrous Item feat. It might be better to take another item creation feat so we aren't both trying to drain the other party member's money the same way offering the same services.

Batman? How so?
I was taught by a ninja.

@Second one - Look in the Trail's End NPC thread. It's bout 7 pages (in 25/page view) long and that's where some of the action happens. Mostly selling stuff, talking, rping.

@Sky: I'd have to disagree. If you're smart enough to predict your opponent's moves, you can easily dodge or counter them. It's the basis of some fighting styles in kung fu movies and anime. ^^^ For example, if someone is casting Cone of Cold at you, and you're intelligent, you might know that this spell has a blind spot in it and then duck into it just before it fires rather than go 'OSHIT' and hit the deck to avoid the effect. ^^^

@Dwarmin: Too late. :P I'll happily buy the higher versions off of Ria for both my characters as soon as you have the CL / I have the cash. ;D
