Rudra levels up! I have gained: access to level 5 spells, and the Orange Veil. Mweeeeehehehe

It should be fairly balanced though since most of the features are situational. If I fight a physical attacker I only have DR against evil and some fast healing from the template, which will make my level adjustment painfully obvious.
I don't think you understand how DR works. You have DR against ALL PHYSICAL ATTACKS EXCEPT Evil-aligned strikes. That doesn't even include attacks from enemies of evil alignment, they need to be specifically using some power that "treats your weapons as Evil for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction".

While we're on the topic of people not understanding things, I think Skyrunner needs to re-read the stuff about turning checks. "Turning damage" isn't actual damage, it's how many HD worth of undead are struck with fear and forced to flee (or, in the special case where the cleric's HD is twice that of a given undead, that undead is destroyed instantly instead)

Rudra already has Greater Invisibility to cast on Tali, there just hasn't been much call for it yet. You know, because... undeads. Also constructs. And I don't think she was there when we were fighting those two demons...

Is the prestige class Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil acceptable? I assume so, as I saw it in the OP as one of the character's classes.
Dude, ye be stealin' mah thunder. Then again, if you play a wizard, we can trade spells, so I say GO FOR IT =3

Why not giant spiders, or R.O.U.S.es, or something that isn't fluffy and adorable?
Fine, I'll see about learning some of those Summon Undead spells... oh wait those are conjurations, not necromancy. Then I guess option #2 is to start carrying a bag of rat bones around with me and deadstyle-raise it for every trapped corridor >=3

....Oh.

(reads SRD)

Dang.

So, apparently all the Wights on Floor 1 would have been destroyed.

:(

As an unrelated matter, anyone ready for a quick quick session that could be interrupted at any time? Nevermind :3

Another unrelated matter, I want to resolve say half of the puzzles on-forum at the NPC interaction thread. Is everyone OK with that? I have two or so puzzles thought up.

A crazy short session? Sounds good for me.

I'll wait for at least an hour or so more, unless we set up a specific time for it.

Short list for my 5th-level spells...
Permanency (always comprehend every language? Never have to prepare Detect Magic again? Permanent See Invisibility next level? Woo)
Overland Flight (Xykon and Vaarsuvius look awesome while fighting SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE OF STUFF LIKE THIS)(also it allows me to stay safe from ground-restricted combatants =3)
Ball Lightning (I'm getting a lot of use out of Flaming Sphere, and this does a good bit more damage...)
Contingent Energy Resistance (just handy to have in general, lasts all bloody day until I get hit with energy damage)
Firebrand (LOTS AND LOTS OF MINIFIREBALLS)
Reciprocal Gyre (highly situational, but in those situations functions as a Button of Instant Giblets... for instance it would have worked quite nicely on that Necromancer I think)
Shard Storm (kind of works thematically for a warder)
Prismatic Ray (kind of like the Sevenfold Veils, except randomly determined)

Also, using feat retraining to dummy out Twin Spell and taking that fire reserve feat instead

It would have been nice to try out the FMM. :\ Oh well. Hopefully that limitation gets lifted sometime soon.

Theoretically, I could filch borrow my sister's netbook and hope it all works out >.>

@Shoruke or Fool

Would the following epic spell theoretically be OK?

As much as I'd like to play, I'd prefer you not get into trouble. :( If you did you might lose the Friday slot and then we wouldn't have any sessions at all. It's better not to risk it. :-\

Hmm, it turns out I wasn't able to learn Fiery Burst when I took Twin Spell... so if it's okay with Sky, I'll change my level 3 feat from Twin Spell to Mobile Spellcasting, and I'll change Magical Trickster bonus feat to Fiery Burst.

For my two 5th-level spells, I picked Firebrand and Contingent Energy Resistance. I'm going to need to find a mage's guild with some decent-level stuff in it, and ask for the privilege to copy a Permanency spell =3

Shoruke, can you check my theoretic Epic spell three posts above? I'm not familiar with the rules...

Also, for the mage's guild spell thing... I'll provide the means (hopefully) this session :3

EDIT : Once again, Epic mages amuse me.

Spell save DC - No.
Attacks per round - 6 (5 quickened due to feat, 1 regular)
Another Epic feat makes Disintegrate auto-quickened. Maximizing adds only 1 spell rank. There is a possibility of, say, 6 Maximized Disintegrates (in one round) with a spell save of No.

:P
