I like it too :3

Cheery!

Also, a clarification about my xp awarding method.

(I) Session XP
This is the base experience awarded according to the experience formulas. Basically what you get after killing stuff. Or defeating stuff (like the pirate who ran).
Characters that did not attack at least once get 66~80% of the full amount.

(II) RP XP
Not based on a single person's, but the overall level of roleplaying.
Usually 200~500.
Characters that didn't speak a word get 0.

(III) ~new~ Forum RP XP
Posting on the Trail's End interaction forum and talking nets you a number of more points. Good for those whose characters didn't show up.

Though now that we are kinda in a tower, not sure how RP would go.
Maybe Kanesrae can talk to the other characters, or maybe Joshua or Scion or Riché.

Or maybe talk inside the tower among themselves. I'm sure you all will come up with a way.
Perhaps someone could retroactively go to Nio and hire an artificer, a potion brewer and a scribe.
Even though Ria can create items, having an artificer will help with both mundane items and magic items that are either hard to make or take a long time. Such as Tali's black dragon scale buckler.

If Maximin wants to discuss Luke being an angel I would be up to writing a small backstory of his past. I'll give you a hint. He doesn't remember a fair bit of it.

The session went well. The odd map disconnects at the stairs were kind of odd, but understandable.

Things to fix. Wraiths died quick. I was not expecting Ria to be a anti-ghost cannon. Could be fun to let her have that niche in battles, but avoid having battles with only ghosts. The vampires hit hard, but then again there were only two of them.

What to do about the necromancer? Put a few bolts into them.

Hmm, what would you think of a cutebold race? :3 They're basically kobolds instead they're catlike instead of lizard-like, with their stuff being:
  • +2 Charisma -2 Intelligence
  • Dark Vision (60 ft)
  • Small Size (+1 size bonus to AC, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, and a +4 bonus on Hide checks, but they must use smaller weapons than humans use, and their lifting and carrying limits are three-quarters of those of Medium-size characters.)
  • Base speed of 30
  • +1 Natural Armor (SRD and all homebrew Kobold-types have it, so figured I might as well throw this in whether or not it gets denied)
  • Sorcerer as Favored Class
  • Same aging as Humans
  • Feline subtype (I think there is one)
  • +2 Racial bonus to Spot and Listen, but -2 to Will saves against Sleep effects

(I'm not too familiar with building races so I don't know if this is OP, or more likely, UP.)

I don't know if its UP/OP either :P

@Fool
This is what you get when the DM fails to read a character sheet. >.>
Also, the rogue failed his dice rolls :P

I reinforced what I learned before: Challenge Ratings are not the best way to measure an encounter.

Hmm...
Oh... (realizes I didn't give out the trap xps)

@SeriousConcentrate: If you drop the natural armor the race is balanced. The land speed is higher than normal, but that is hardly worth adding a level adjustment. For comparison, a kobold has all those things (different +2/-2, but still), but it also has -4 to strength on top of it all to balance out the natural armor, and land speed bonus.

@SerCon

Do you think cutebolds would have cities/towns/tribes?
How advanced are they?
Where do they live? As in, which continent? Live with goblinoids?
Tech level?

@Fool: Ah, OK. I'll drop that then, thanks. ^^^
@Sky: Anything's cool. I figure they would be urban dwellers for the most part, mingling with humans in cities since they're cute enough to get by. Maybe have their own small section of town where they tend to congregate (but not an official part of town). Tech level would be about the same as humans, maybe a little lower down.

EDIT: lol. Rolling up a cutebold sorcerer 6/Force Missile Mage 3. He's so squishy. o.O 29 HP at level 9...

Hmmm... So they don't have a 'homeland'? Elfs, humans and dorfs, and gobloids also all have homeland continents... O_o... Are kobolds related to goblins?

Eh... How will I wait another week :( So long a wait, so short a session >.>

Let's say if they had one, it was probably a long time ago since they've integrated... unless you want to give them one. ^^^ Another option would have them be some sorcerer or wizard's experiment to make kobolds cuter from a long time ago, so they come from the same area as regular kobolds. :3

And yeah, I hear ya. :\

We have a week off university, so other than Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings (work) I have all day for D&D. Any chance of a mini-session?

Also, just now remembered to ask:

@shoruke: Want a FE-style pog for Rudra?
@Skyrunner: Still want a FE-style pog for Wheatly? Wheatly completed!
@Dwarmin: Want one for Tali? Tali completed!

Anyway, still trying to make a cutebold image for Ryncheet. No luck yet. :P I'm off for some Mass Effect 2 now to get a character ready for 3 when it comes out next month, but I'll be back later. :3

EDIT: Also, Toman leveled, so now he's Fighter 9/Bard 1/Dragon Disciple (Gold) 1, and I bought him a small AC raising item (Ring of Protection, +2 Deflection AC) under the pretense that he bought it sometime before they left but forgot to wear it until now. >.> I'll put down the updated character next time we play.

@SC: Hmm, if you like. My current pog is good, but Fe'afying it would be great.

I'd like to see what you can do, anyway.

OK, I'll get to work on it soon. I think I'll have to either not make my own image or give up on the idea of a cutebold character. My editing skills fail me. ;_; Well, if I keep at it maybe one day I'll figure out how to do a decent muzzle and fur-sort of appearance.

I like it! You seem to have have gotten everything there. Even the eyebrows. ;)

I love how you made her slightly villainous looking, heh. Added to sheet!

Also, good work on the other one. Somehow Wheatley reminds me of Dracula now, though...
