Woot!

LEVEL UP!
Tali takes a level in fighter! (now Fighter 4/Rogue 3/St. Fighter 4)
+8 HP (1d10 = 5 + 3 Con)
Gained +1 BaB
Gained +1 to Fort save
Gained Bonus Feat: Improved Two Weapon Fighting
Bought 1 rank each Hide, Move Silently, Open lock and Tumble.

Quick RP :P
----

After the desperate battle with Toman at the gates, Tali felt tougher and more honed than she had been in years...later, she would suppose it was just that sort of thing-her jokes aside, when Toman was around, Tali fought harder-knowing her old friend was relying on her. She wasn't used to have anyone rely on her-or trust her, for that matter. It was a new thing.

Was Toman different than the others? When the black day came, would Tali stand beside him or flee, like she had in the past? She couldn't really say.

But, as she reflected on the day, Tali always came back to one thing. Standing back to back with Toman, against the hordes of foes-sharing a glance between them. She had been afraid-as she often was in battle, biting remarks and angry vindications used to cover it, aside. Toman hadn't been.

She had seen her own fear reflected in his eyes, and his understanding, not scorn.
She had seen the silent message within him, perhaps the ultimate message of Tomans life-"Stand true, and we'll get through this".

And Tali had faith.

Looking at your sheet Elfcol! Time for constructive criticism.

First, shouldn't you get some ranks *in* intimidate? From what I gather, Samurai chars are supposed to be frontline melee fighters and battlefield controllers through intimidation. I mean, either that OR homebrew your later level staredown abilities into something fits your char more.

And, I suggest you build up your AC a bit more-even without a shield, you can buy heavier armor and AC boosting items. You're going to be a front line fighter, and you're going to get attacked alot. Me and SC were tanking multiple hits on 25 AC last night, for example.

Also, can I recommend you not being blind? As is, you're going to torn apart, 50% miss chance on all attacks, and no way to defend yourself. Since, you won't know anyone is. It's cinematic, sure-but it's not effective. Maybe you can have just *one* eye burned out? :P

And, make sure Skyrunner approves before you go forward. Both me and SC got permission before casting our chars into the game. And we both agreed not to double loot that badly. I'll hope you respect the same limitations.

...

Here's the article on his class btw.

I know. I haven't yet said I'm using him. I'm waiting for Skyrunner to give me the GO signal, or I can go cast him in the magma pool with all the other rejects. :3

Hm...I'll be looking for ways for Amane to 'see' without seeing. I would sort of like him to be blind, even symbolically. Eh, and I'm going to boost power, not by much though. He's supposed to be an exiled, disgraced samurai, not a full-blown respectable samurai with access to money, power, and shops.

So...he's blind, and he uses Staredown. o_o

It's so much more intimidating without eyes, especially without eye patches. Hell, I'd give him a bonus if he did that.

Being stared down by a blind samurai wielding a bastard sword with the scarred, ugly remains of his eyesockets looking at you is going to scare the hell out of you.

Oh. Burned. Gotcha :P

I'm trying to draw up a human fighter high-level person, but how do I maximize damage and AC?

I'll set up the #Trailsend irc chat to help you powergame. It'll be faster this way.

I would suggest doing the exact same thing I'm doing as Toman: pick a weapon, get Weapon Focus in it, Improved Critical, Savage Critical, maybe Power Critical if you want a small boost to confirming criticals, and Power Attack. Since you're building a villain, you probably won't need any Cleave feats unless you plan on, at some point, doing another fortress defense except with the PCs having a ton of generic mooks for her to cut down. Also multi to Bard or Sorcerer (Bard's better, gets you more skill points and Speak Language as a class skill so it only takes 1 skill point to pick up Draconic rather than 2, and makes Knowledge a class skill so it's easy to get Arcana up to 8 ) and PrC into Dragon Disciple like I'm planning to do for higher stats, some natural armor, and a breath attack. In this case, don't bother with attack spells; your casting strength won't be high enough for them to matter, so just pick up useful utility spells like Message or Light.

If she has a high Dex, I would also suggest Combat Reflexes so she gets additional AoO based on how high her Dex bonus is; at 18 she would have a total of 5 AoO per round, for example. Combat Expertise, Dodge, Mobility, and Spring Attack would allow you to pick up Whirlwind Attack, which allows the fighter to make 1 attack at her highest BAB at all enemies surrounding her. That could be useful.

Alternatively, if you don't want to do the Dragon Disciple route, I would suggest looking into Weapon Master instead, or perhaps Frenzied Berserker.

ninja'd, but still, just my advice. ^^^;

The channel is set up. Depending on what your characters focus is will dramatically change what you'll want to pick.

Initial map:

It should be colored by tomorrow. Coloring is harder than I thought, and I might just use it this way >.>

Heh, just give us basic idea of the terrain of each piece and it should be fine. Anyway, who could make a bonus session today? I know I could attend. Maybe we could fight that Dragon this time! Everyone line up for the breath attack. :P

Also, spells for you to potentially approve Skyrunner.

I can't make it. I have a little under 100 History questions to answer before class tonight, and I've done like 9 of them. :(

Right, apart from being blind with blindsight/sense, which I will not change, any suggestions for my char?
