Hehehe. Yeah, I'm doing that. Sky said we had only a certain amount of spells we could "know" for each level, right? I think that's right. He said "9/6/6/5/4/3" so I'm assuming that means I can't know any spells greater than 5th level.

http://grpg.wikidot.com/class:favoured-soul

^This should help, if you don't already have it, or the book at hand.

Also, you have it right with the spell count.

lol. Pretty soon there's going to be a lot of wings going around. ^^^ Luke already has his, Toman will get a pair of gold dragon wings in a few levels, and if FFS goes Favored Soul he'll be getting wings too at level 17. Rae's gonna be so jelly. :P

If there is one thing you should do, it is preventing the unexperienced GM from wandering onto gaming sites (like Giant in the Playground). I learned a bunch of neat tricks that'll make your (collective) encounters harder! D:

The neceomancer has gained new tricks!

How are we s'posed to prevent our GM from doing that when she has mobile internet? D: Even though we have snipers stationed around your house for that contingency, we don't know your every move. :c

Great. Time to dig through the Compendium again and look for armor or accessories that prevent level drain. >.>

Enchantment "Death Ward", costs +1.

Or, just ask Wheatly for three or so. He can have maximum three Death Wards at any time.

Dwarm, don't forget the form :P (NPC interaction thread)

Also, does anyone want to hire an artificer, a potion brewer, an appraiser, or other?

EDIT : Dwar, are you going to hate me if Auvergne gets a better touch AC? :<

EDIT 2 : Piling on enchantments is FUN.

@Sky: She can already one shot kill everyone but Toman. What's the harm in adding even more power!!!

Also, I say let's hire a potion brewer! Who should be also be a Dwarf! Who also makes beer. :V
Edit: Or maybe a certain gnome by the name of Flashbang...

Do I have your permission to gen up a char who will be our secondary team crafter, Skyrunner? What level might they be?

@Sky: Remember that same-type enchantments don't stack. You can't have Gauntlets of Ogre Power and a Belt of Hill Giant Strength. Well, you can, but you won't get the bonus from the gauntlets since it's weaker. ^^^; It's important to keep that in mind for AC boosting items, too. That's why Toman has so many of different types (armor for armor type, shield for shield type, ring for deflection type, amulet for natural type, etc.)

@Dwarmin: BS. Rae actually has more HP than Toman somehow, she can survive a couple of blows too. >.> (143 vs 135) Anyway, if you did have an artificer, that might be interesting.

Ya know, I saw something back in the post history about custom spell making rules.

You spend 1 day per two spell levels in a library/mages guild. The time spent may be interrupted; the mage need only spend 8 hours to count as a day. Before researching, the spell is to be approved by the DM. After that, the DM will set a spellcraft DC. If the spell is not legal, the DM will notify you beforehand.
After being approved, the mage does 1 spellcraft check per day. If the spellcraft check fails, increase the needed time by 1 day.

I found this one in the SS handbook, as for relating to my own class.

Spoiler: suggestion! (click to show/hide)

I was wondering if this could be approved for possible custom spells I might want to make in the future-and, in this way, if it would be possible to get other divine spells-cleric/paladin/ranger in my arsenal?

@ Dwar's 1st post
Well, Ria's Ranged Touch attacks will be able to break her quickly.

For the team crafter, would that be a PC or an NPC? If its a PC, you'll have hard time, since y'know, making stuff costs XP for some strange reason.

@SerCon
I know. She stacked tons of different enchantments on her armor & sword.

Here's a censored list:

Quote
(Armor)
+5 mundane enhancements
+1 [redacted]
+2 [redacted]
+1 [redacted]
1 crystal of [redactness]

Final cost (enchantments only) 100000 or so gp, not including base cost

(Sword)
+3 mundane enhancements
+1 [redacted]
+2 [redacted]
1 crystal of [redactness]

Final cost some 120000 gp or something.

Teehee.

All of the enchantments are different from each other. Because Auvergne is a 18th level, she has tons of money judging by the WBL, and can afford to pile enchantment on enchantment...

@Dwarmin's second post

That sounds like a nice, theme-appropriate way.
I didn't know that druids had to learn spells though :P
Clerics have it soooo easy, just request spells every day.

Perhaps spells with 'peaceful' elements (such as buffs spells, or most spells that don't focus on damage) are more likely to use the spirit quest, and damage dealing spells are more likely to require spirit combat.

Decided by the d100.

As for the cleric/ranger/paladin/bard spells, that's rather iffy. Especially if you consider that bards are arcane casters, and most of their spells are from the sorcerer/wizard list.

Dwarmin didn't mention bards anywhere. >.> Also, are crystals Psionics? I was under the impression most crystal stuff is, as well as some enchantments like Collision (+5 damage). Because if Collision isn't... I'm going to have to get that for both my characters ASAP. (|||)
