Actually, I think my confusion comes from Skyrunners post. It should be 6650 sp, not what she said.

Also, black dragon hide armor is immune to acid, but that wont really help you out much.

Edit: Oh. She was not counting the +1 for some reason.

We might be able to work something out...maybe dragonskin armor/shields/weapons can give a discount of the associated element when buying enchantments for resistance/offense?

Blackdragon hide buckler (masterwork) w/o magic plusses (I made a mistake there) would cost 330 to buy BUT take only 165 gps worth of crafting to make: it says so in the Special Materials section.

It would be AC+2 and have 0 armor penalty.

Using a skill check to craft nonmagical stuff doesn't take exp.
Infusing a masterwork item to make it magical, takes exp.

Oh, and this is just an idea, but what if from now on, you can't buy equipment with more than 2 magic plusses in small towns?

I'd need a character concept, need to make sure I have the time free, and need to get up to speed on the campaign setting before then, but I would like to express my interest in joining, Sky! Is there a good place to get up to speed on what's been happening so far, other than this thread?

(P.S. Perhaps this is premature, but I made a rather bitching system of customizable MapTools 3.5 Macros for my old group, but barely got a chance to use them. It handles buffs and debuffs, skill checks, spells, attack rolls, temp. hp and subdual damage, etc... and all in all I'm pretty proud of it!)

Story so far is almost zero. The OP-linke summaries might help in a very small way.

Personal list of story related points:

- Killed Lammasu, LG creature
- Eurika, high leveled mage that Kanesrae(SerCon), Tali (Dwarmin), and the late Thenash(TheFool) met a couple months ago somehow stalked(?) the party. Secrets!
- Erm... Can't think of any.
- Gold dragon gifted Tali and Kanesrae a week or so before the above incident a couple of dragon scales and said 'We might meet again' or something.

Current quest seems to be 'Avenge deaths of a party and seek&destroy nightwalker(s) and co.'

The next session will probably be when the story really starts up. I hope I don't mess up.

Seems the party could use some tank/support types. I might adapt my Halfling Wild Paladin character for this game... she might need a name change, though, since Tylee is dangerously close to Tali.
