So the session is actually in a little less than 6 hours. I'll see everyone there.

@SC: Hmm, I was wondering-did you use you this translator to figure out your chars name? :P

http://eclipsegaming.pbworks.com/f/aerenal_translator.html

Even if not, we can sort of use it for our inter-elfian communication. While it doesn't see to be backwards compatible, it might be fun to use specific words and phrases from it.

Okay. I'm not going to make it to this session.

You know, I think I might as well just drop out fully. I can't keep up with this game. Good luck.

I used this dictionary, which has random rolls (that I used). For example, Rae's name breaks down like:

Kan - Eagle
Es - Elf
Rae - Beast

Tyr - Mistresses of
Mitore - The Moon

@Ninja Cript: All right. ^^^;

EDIT: Wait, that's actually wrong. I confused the parts. It should actually be

Ka - Dragon
Nes - Heart
Rae - Beast

I looked at it again and realized that was what it was supposed to be, since in the RPG I originally meant her for her class title was Dragon Heart/KaNes.

Does anyone know if it's possible to set up if/then conditions in Macros? Like, if I wanted to set it up so when I attack, it checks to see if a successful hit threatens, and if so, rolls for it? Or if it's possible to set it up so one number could be entered and that would modify another automatically? Right now I have Power Attack set so it's always -3 to-hit, +6 to damage as is correct for a two-handed weapon, but what if I wanted to use it for say, -10, +20?

I can make it just in time for the session, but I'll have to work on my sheet during class, and I'm not NEARLY done looking up spells to request  :P

I'd also like to request Easy Metamagic (from Dragon Magazine 325, or page 58 of that giant list of feats), which lets you lower the Spell Level Adjustment for one of your metamagic feats by one (minimum 1).

I was wondering if Spirit Detective was alright. Since we already have a back-up healer I wanted to try an RP heavy class, even if it is a little weak.

Ooh, easy metamagic! I approve. Also one of the main NPCs shall get that feat :3

The sessions is in about one hour! During that time I'll mostly be preparing the main NPCs (both antagonist ones and your-side ones) and also be savoring this yucky milk. I also have a master plan for the next few sessions! YAY!

In other news, Cript dropping is rather sad to hear :c

Names to look out for:

Eurika
Pabian
Auvergne

I'm settling on either Fighter w/Black Knight Archetype, Focused Tactician, or Monk for my alt, so if you want Spirit Detective I won't object Fool. ^^^

Heh, well we could use you in the next big fight Shoruke! Anybody wanna talk tactics?

Since we're facing like 20 Goblins and two Barghests, and we all got hit with the despair attack for oh say 10 rounds more.

http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/barghest.htm

Assuming they're not awesome bluffers, I'm guessing that's what they are.

Aaaand, I just realized how awesomely useless my char is here. I literally cannot hurt the Bargeys, at all. Not for the ten rounds of the debuff, and only on a 5-6 afterwards with their damage reduction.  If they're the greater form I can't do any damage to them at all, ever.

Cause, Stupid me didn't realize the scope of the dungeon we were entering beforehand and didn't buy a magic weapon yet, so I can't get pass their DR. :X

Ugh, I screwed up bad.

I guess I'm stuck supporting you for the entire thing, SC. I'll give you flanking and Aid another at least, along with off tanking.

These Bargheys don't have DR. Why? Because they're runts.

... More seriously, I didn't consider their DR at that time because I didn't exactly understand DR :3

Hmm, yeah... I think I'm going to be spamming Rage-fueled power attacks this encounter. :I Whether or not they have DR. :D

GM save! Thanks.

I guess that makes it a fair run for me now. Umm, I'll be more ready next time. Alchemical Silver backup weapons, Enchants, cold iron etc etc...

Though, I just read this which really surprised me.

Quote
A successful sneak attack increases the damage dealt. When you make a sneak attack against a foe with damage reduction, roll the sneak damage and add it to the damage from the hit before applying the effects of damage reduction.

That was the opposite of what I thought it was.
