I would. It would involve me sleeping though til noon afterwards, but I would. I planned to do something similar for a Warhammer game before I figured out that I messed up my timezones.

@Sky: Actually, my PTA sessions sometimes go that late. Friday I could certainly swing. O_o

You've got at least another nightowl with me.

Anyway...go go weekend mini-session!? Anyone else available today/tomorrow?

Well, that's good. I wouldn't have been able to make it today, or at least I probably would have been late. :P

@Skyru: Glad to hear our 'nail in the coffin' talk over IRC didn't pan out. :P

Session is over.

Now, can all of you answer these questions?

  • Are the sessions fun? Or are they just rolls after rolls, a single tactical game, or something else?
  • Why?
  • What could be done to fix it, if the first question was a negative?

Thanks in advance.

I have fun at the sessions, although I was caught off guard by the campaign end drawing near. That was more of a 'dur what?' moment than anything, though.

The only problems I have with the campaign are ones caused by myself, like not knowing what we're doing after missing a session.

Yeah, I'm having fun too. Enemies are nice and varied, though they can be on the weaker side sometimes. It's nice to see them use tactics too. The dungeons are interesting, and nicely designed.

Also, the nilbogs took me completly off-guard. I didn't think anyone would dig those up ever again. And yeah, sessions have a tendency to end abruptly.

I love the campaign and the roleplaying, although I feel as if I'm ruining the difficulty of it all. I'm one-shotting giants with spells on a fairly consistent basis. I think I might just make Ikk's sister after all and play as a ninja for a session or two. I like RPing a cocky powerful evil wizard, but the only things I don't kill in two spells are immune for one reason or another.

I rather enjoyed the nilbogs. They were strange and fairly new to me within an actual campaign. It was also nice that they managed to heal Ikk without her killing them, even if she felt uncomfortable about the whole thing.

I'm going to roll up a ninja and have Ikk sit on the sidelines next session. It's about time we have a balanced encounter again without me thrashing through enemies like no tomorrow.

I'll agree with the previous opinions. They are fun.

But, we're nearing the finish line here, and I don't think it's going to end on a good note. We just don't have enough time...

Is there really no session this week? I really wanted to test something out.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I intend to do alignment hopping based on d20 rolls every few in-game minutes, and maybe throw in a couple emotions into the mix as well.
