Guess what? Turns out I'm going to have to go back to chopping wood tomorrow. >.< I hope we do it early in the day so I'm done by game time, but if I'm late or don't show up at all, that's why. I don't see why we couldn't have done it today when nothing was going on, but whatever.

If yes, then here's a Feral Catfolk Belkar Ranger 10 / Barbarian 2 character. He's a slightly insane action-loving death-seeking blood knight who's fighting style can be pretty much summed up as 'if Wolverine was a cat-man'. Three levels from now he'll be able to light his claws on fire FOR GREAT JUSTICE.

And I'm sorry I haven't been making it to the past few sessions. From now on, my sheshuole (that's the way I intentionally mispronounce schedule written phonetically) should be cleared up enough to reliably make it to sessions.

Me and SC got his Maptools up and working, and amongst such intriguing topics of discussion like Spiketv and how crappy Florida is, we went over the session, and he showed me the log.

Now, it took us a bit, but I think we figured it out.

Why are you guys fighting the giant, possibly immobile monster, when the staff- the thing we CAME FOR-is sitting undefended in the corner, by a probably unconscious sanddancer? Why don't we just go over and take it? Big Armor dude either can't or won't move. He might just let us walk out.

Or, if we threaten his precious pearl (Which is a complete red herring, I think) he certainly won't move. We take the staff and leave. Saving SD on the way, maybe.

Am I missing something here?

Cause, we can't beat this boss. He's terribly overpowered in all ways. He literally cannot be beat. I don't believe Sky would have made it that way, unless she was trying to mess with our heads. And, you guys fell for it.

Yeah... I suppose we did come for the staff. I was just thinking that the pearl might be important, but I suppose we didn't come for it. Anything that can swat Sanddancer like nothing is something we shouldn't fight.

Guys, sorry I haven't been on, real life issues and such have prevented me from going on, and I won't be on this week nor in two weeks time due to various trips I'll be taking.
