I'm already creeped out by that description. It puts me in mind of the Regenerators from RE4 for some reason. O.o I like the Saint, but I don't really blame you for wanting to drop him; I tried writing a non-living character once (Sniping And Reconnaissance Unit, some model number I don't remember) and got bored fairly quickly despite Dwarmin's best efforts to RP with him since, let's face it, synthetics aren't even a tenth as interesting as organics (to use Mass Effect terms) to write.

Basically saying I understand and, from a writing standpoint, support your decision.

Pointless Edit: I wonder if I should do another pog image for Rae. ???

Nah, that one looks awesome for her emo state. I'm actually wondering where you got so skilled at sprite work.

Well, I'm not sure if I'm going to keep her emo. ^^^; It's nice for a one-off, maybe, but I found that during the session she was kind of just standing around and attacking when necessary since, in a depressed state, she didn't have much to say or react with. I do like it, though. As for skill, I'd consider myself more of a semi-decent editor than anything else. ^^^; I mainly just make them for my own enjoyment, but I'm happy that other people like them too. :D

I want to know if the starting gold has changed at all, because between level 9 and level 13 there is a lot of gold. There is a 74,000gp gap between the levels, and that just seems like a lot.

EDIT: Tali will appreciate the new character in combat. Every time he hits an enemy they are considered flat-footed until someone else hits them. The ability replaced my animal companion for having levels in ranger.

One last thing. Do enhancement bonuses for Fast Movement stack? I have the feature from 2 different sources (Ranger 1 ACF, and Scout 4). The quick trait is a bonus added to the speed itself and is not an enhancement, but I was hoping to have a land speed of 60 ft as a tracker.

EDIT2: Here's a character sheet. This should be it mechanics wise. I still need to add wonderous items, but there is no sense in adding them until I know how much to spend.

I'd want to check the wording of the sources... I think enhancement bonuses to movement won't stack with other enhancement bonuses, but in the end it's Sky's decision whether to rule "no, they're both nonstackable enhancement bonuses" or "yes, because they're both from Fast Movement, so it's basically the same source".

D&D is weeeeeird sometimes

Scout - 'enhancement bonus'
Monk - 'enhancement bonus'
Barbarian - 'faster than norm'

...O_o All teh wordings are different.

I'd say no, though. Kinda like spell progression betwen Wizards and Sorcerers.
((What makes me iffy is that Uncanny Dodge /does/ stack betwen classes.)

In other news, I'm totally going to use FMM soon! Look out! >_<

Luckily My Shield Spell Will Protect Me better than most people, since they would have to roll 4 higher on their Caster Level Check to surpass it >.>

(nothing says specialist quite like putting entire levels into being better at not getting hit by Magic Friggin' Missile)

Just bringing this question up again. I'd like to know as well.

Assume that the starting gold is equal to that of a 12th level's WBL. That would be 110.000 gp.

That's weird, I didn't notice. The ranger ACF (CW, p.13) says that your base land speed is increased, so it does stack. I assumed the scout's feature would be the same wording as the ACF. Thanks for pointing out the different wordings.

Hm... looking at the wording, I'd say they stack  :o
But if Sky says no, the answer is no.

Wait... so the scout's speed enhancement bonus doesn't stack with the ranger ACF untyped bonus? The ACF is that I give up spellcasting for that and a few spell-likes farther down the line. It wouldn't be worth it without the speed bonus.

One way is to look at the wording.
Another way is to look at similar cases... such as Uncanny Dodge. Uncanny Dodge, when gained twice from separate classes, is improved to Improved Uncanny Dodge. This works because in the end you need four levels to get IUD.

How would the ACF of the Ranger dovetail with the Scout's Fast Movement?

... I don't know myself.

A capability to deal maybe 110 damage per round! (Twinned Maximized MM!)

The right use of feats should allow for 220 damage. (Sudden Quicken, perhaps.)

If I go all the way and take flaws....
