You might want to look just a tad bit harder, since there are two games that are still accepting players on these forums right now.

I just looked, The only one that I found that I was interested in I couldn't join because I can't install hamachi which is needed to join

I checked it out, and I just want a relatively simple 3.5/Pathfinder campaign. Thank you for the offer though!

I find the combination of all the different rules a little complicated.
Also, I'd rather not start my character at level 25

The whole idea of mashing systems together willy nilly. I mean. Some systems... It would work for... Sorta. Although in no way balanced. What you are trying to do with Trail's end is basically impossible to do "the real way" without way more work then you have put into it. I guess you could still do it in a super rules light way, where basically you do not actually use the rules of any system and only the flavor and common sense each interaction. Although it will create a very unstable game, I suppose it could work for a short time.

Also, are you not going to use hamachi? Have you done a single session without it yet? You might find it harder to go without.

At any rate.

Western Marches is a D&D 3.5 starting level 4 game that is accepting more players and does not use hamachi.

I noticed that the two applications right now are both DnD, albeit one being 3.5 and the other 4.0. Maybe I'll just reboot the whole thing with a 3.5e ruleset :/

Problem being, I don't know DnD well. ..

I'm kinda like a story person, with little knowledge of mechanics.

Not that I make stories well...

EDIT: At least I have a port-fowarded Maptools.

EDIT2: So, does anyone in this thread think there is a market(?) space for one more 3.5e game? Albeit being GMed by a beginner?

Well. If you reboot it in a single system, I might join if that would be okay. Another game could not hurt?

Also I am a total rules lawyer. So I can totally compensate for a DM not knowing rules.

Thank you for that link, it looks like a campaign I would be interested in

Umm...yay!

Since it seems DnD is the single King of this forum, I think that will be it.

Because I happen to have 3.5e Players Handbook, DMs Guide, Monster Manual...and a bunch of source books like Complete Warrior, Arcanum something, Magic Compedium? and others.... 3.5e it is.

Cript, can you PM me to hammer out the non-story-related specifics?

Oh god what. I was not asking to be co-GM or something crazy like that. I was just saying I can slap down cheating players and Barbarossa.

Er. What is this hammering? I am. Uh. I mean. What am I suppose to do?

Umm...well, I wasn't thinking of co-GM. Just the start position. For example, starting level. Starting wealth? Umm.... restrictions, if any? Like "only from this-and-this book". 'Cause, you know, beginner.
