I think I have this cutebold viking thing figured out. Unless I get faster at vectorization, I may have to resort to drawing some things other than fine detail. Either way, I'll quite likely tone down the quality, if I can figure out how.

The bear fur cloak that is obviously of great sentimental value is fluffy. Not spiky. Very, very fluffy. Spoiler warning: I'm likely to kill it.


I'm not happy with the pants, boots, hands/arms, the axe head, the cloak, or the shadow from his hand. I'm not sure exactly what he's doing, or why the axe appears to be so light. Still, I like to think it's a decent first real effort, and I mostly like how it turned out.

I'm not entirely sure how vikings dressed. Are there any needed changes before we begin?

They say that he will have 2500 credits for you to equip yourself with if you need it. Speaking of money, you check your balance just before taking off. [4] You have 2000 credits in your possession, with another [3] 3000 in the bank. An hour later you are touching down, [6] you expected some trouble with your ship, but apparently the last mechanic did well. He upped the speed too. You wait for your contact, but he is nowhere to be found. Looking around you see a pair of boots sticking out of a garbage truck. Approaching, you find on the man 2500 credits and a small pistol. He died of a plasma burn to the head.

Update 1: Awakening

Observe a kobold. He appears to be sleeping.



The kobold's name is Squishy. He is a mighty viking.



You are now Squishy! After waking up, you quickly don your VIKING HELMET for decency's sake. You are the most important kobold in Buddle Village, being the lye miner. Lye is critical for the crafting of LUTEFISK. Natural lye deposits are rare, and apparently do not exist outside of Viking lands. The thought is greatly saddening.

You are currently in your house. It consists of one room, with a sleeping area, your personal mini-armory, a shrine to your favorite god, and an entrance. There is a barrel of food at the entrance, although you usually prefer to eat in the COMMUNAL HALL with the rest of your small village.

Title changed. I got a lot on my plate now with college and Luigi Quest and SprayedMoirails and Mushroom Kingdom Wars, so Crystal Quest must be temporarily suspended. Unless someone else just really wanted the slot, in which case I'd be happy to remove it.
