guild jobs: bug or feature?
« on: September 10, 2006, 04:34:00 pm »

I have the strong impression that guild job mandats count only jobs done by dwarves with the "right" profession. For example if you have a "House Fer" mandate and train some dogs, the counter will only decrease if the trainer is actually a trapper, but a fisherdwarve training those animals will not count towards the mandate. Is this intended behaviour ?

Yeah, I think this is how it works.  As with the other guild mandate issue, it's probably quite annoying.  I suppose there's some middle ground to be found here, even if it's just a restriction you can place to stop non-guild workers from taking guild jobs.  Perhaps this could happen automatically if you are under a mandate, as a standing order or some such thing.
