Well, now I have some pretty much zombie, blind, numb, dizzy, completely relying on the hive mind- dwarves to tend to.

In other words: Perfect soldiers!

No, the dizziness is suboptimal...

Yup. You just want eyeball removal, and pain receptor damage. Fat melting optional.

Hey, I lost a fort to the exact same square shell wearing, dust spewing, vomit pile! I thought someone would get a hit in before getting exploded, but apparently not. If I recall, someone damaged its shell out of all (two) parts of it.

I think it would be fun if "waterfall" type defences could work for these. Just a simple waterfall across the only path into your fort, cleans and neutralises any vomit/dust/fire/etc FB and their syndrome.

Perhaps making it too easy, but also being realistic given material type and expectedly susceptibility to water.

Or creating a mass syndrome distribution shower. I assume you don't want your Dorfs to have eyeballs?

Eyeballs are for surface dwelling, sunlight loving, tree shagging elves, and their human conspirators.

Real dwarves find their way around by sensing the magma, and the aroma of the booze stockpile. Eyeballs are totally unnecessary when you have total cave adaptation!

(Besides, if you do this at the river's source, you get to blind and deform the elves in their perverted little "retreat" downstream!)

Yeah, the FB also launched boiling or freezing extract. Anyway, the dwarves recovered (mostly). Surprisingly, the only deaths were a dog, a kitten, 2 puppies, and a baby dorf.

Fun fact, one of the surviving, but scarred dwarves already has been majorly injured. He has a scar from a broken rib, he's missing one arm, and now he has major rotting and blood loss. The rotting is mostly subsided, and now only resides in every joint on his body.

Thus proving that dwarves have knees.

Ever heard of blind cave fish? How about blind cave dwarves?

Is it just me? Or are there more and more reports appearing of giant regurgitated clams around the place?
