what has science done
« on: January 25, 2012, 03:57:39 am »

Firstly this is real science and anything illegal will be ignored.

I'm doing science and the best part, you get to suggest what to do.

I'll post a list of all the materials I have to preform science and my tools as well, afterwards you can deside what science will I preform and what I should seek out and whatever.

Opinions?

Do you have access to a lab? Agar? Restriction enzymes? Electrophoresis chamber? Lamitor flow hoods? Strawberries? Jellyfish? Fertalizer? A clean room? And deionized distiled water?

I dont even know where to get some of those but I'm sure I can get them if moral need arises.

I have an empty room I'm going to transform into a clean room, but the rest I have money to buy if I need it for science.

Oh, do I ever!
How do you feel about researching the Magnus Effect? What about mechanical systems involving gears? Or pneumatic systems? I have it all!
And best of all, research materials are cheap cheap cheap!
Tell me if interested, I'll provide endless research topics.

Put a cat in your room with some unstable dynamite that has a 50% chance of exploding. Never observe the room.

Maybe it's parasitic. It never loses its flavor because you eventually die from having your nutrients stolen by it.

But what about the timeline where you didn't?

I'm up for alot of science but that thaught experiment is cruel and I'm not into leaving cats unobserved, although that property does have great techical uses. I'm not fimilar with that effect, what is it?

Superposition of states. The thought experiment is called Shroedinger's cat, and was devised as a way of showing that the idea in question is mighty silly(even though it really isn't).

Anyway, why won't you start by proving experimentally the Archimedes' law. Describe the experimental tools used(pics maybe?), methods, results analysis, and conclusion.

It's not cruel if the cat is alive and dead at the same time. Simply do not observe it, and give it a lot of food.

Question: How is this experiment falsifiable?

Now how to do it; with electricity, water, gears and mechanisms?
