This is Skyrunner here! :D

Caution: This is a semi-serious story, with some 4th wall breaking ok.
Spoiler: Premise (click to show/hide)

Rules:

1. Choose whatever system you want, be it WH40k, DnD, GURPS ...
2. Create a hero with it. Example : Dungeon and Dragons would be a character with total level 25 or so. GURPS would be a character made with 350 points.
3. Explain the what everything does, if it is an unfamiliar system. I, the GM, have the DnD Players/Dungeon Master's/Monster Guide for edition 3.5. I also have the GURPS books (basic, magic, lo-tech). I do not have WH40k... or others.
4. Work together to rule out the glaring imbalances (Example: "Spell Screw the World, kills every enemy in a 5000 km sphere centering on the caster" does NOT work.), be it by post on this thread, PM, or other means.
5. The character sheets should either be: (a) simple, posted so that viewing it is easy, with the most common stats on it (such as STR, DEX, INT,HP, all four a key component of most games), and the various feats/skills/abilities/etc. Equipment is optional, and (b) have some a simple explanation of the skill and its mechanics.

(b) is not required for GURPS and DnD 3.5e skills.

Due to the different HP systems, the work-together part might take a while ...

Also, the method of play should be decided, for acting out battles. A poll is attached. Or at least it should be, but I don't know how to make one...

The selections are:

A. Post-by-post combat!
B. Maptools!
C. Some other way!

Also, if we were to use Maptools,

A. Square tiles!
B. Hex tiles!
C. Something else!

The five slots should at least have one 'tank'. one magician/sorcerer/wizard/whatever, and one long range. A classic 5-person party is probably the best.
Also, note the system your character came from.

This RP in a nutshell: A mad crossover of all sorts of systems in hopes something good happens.

Here's to hopes this doesn't crash and die! At least, I hope it gets off the ground!

FAKE EDIT: ...Oh yeah, a story.

What's this about Kobold Bards? Count me in.

Go for D&D 3.5, I know it well. I can do either maptools or play-by-post.

I'll post a sheet when the format is decided on.

The Fool, its any format, GURPS, WHF, WH40k, DnD, etc.

I was going to come as Corvander (goblin necromancer, lurks around medieval games),but now we haz a kobold bard.

Elf, that wall of text would probably be better if you just screenshot/somehow save it :P It's rather hard to see right now. 3.5e, I presume? Hopefully?

I'll be making a goliath barbarian. Expect it to be... broken.

I'll link a mythweavers page in an hour or two, but it'll lack a lot of stuff. Do I need to post book references for approval before I add something?

There you are. The angriest glass cannon ever. The temporary scores are his rage stats, which you will be seeing very often. Do I need to bother with recording item weight? :P

I still need to add a feat or four, but I'll add them tomorrow morning. I'll probably go for greater cleave, and the one that allows your con stat to be used for will saves.

EDIT: Feats, and magic items added. Now I just need the standard items. And yes my character can hold ten cars above his head and walk around like nothing happened while raging.

Old RPs don't die, they just disappear.(fade away?

... that aside, I think we need two more people, or at least a wizard/otherrangedcharacter before starting.

Well, willing to join an RP, but I've no idea at all on D&D or any of the sort. Just read a lot of mythology and history, familiar with current fantasy.

Great.  :-\

Um, posting to...watch then?
