Go with Charnel. IIRC it's in this mission that you get the awesome Raise Dead spell from him.

Stick with Charnel, because Raise Dead is such a game-changing spell - especially if you use it to resurrect Sirocco should she die.

Ultimately, though, we want to end up with Stratos - but the game may give us the opportunity to proceed along that path in due course.

I vote Persephone, because I prefer being a relatively good wizard and rainbow is a drat good healing spell. Besides, Firefists already give us a strong melee unit, we don't need another one, and gnomes are pretty good ranged support.

When asked what happens when you are then shot in the other eye, he said that you put an eyepatch on that eye. When asked how you'd be able to see, he said that your first eye would have healed by then.

We've already gotten the best out of Charnel so it is an opportune moment to stab him in the back and side with the good guys.

Aye. Go with James again, since Stratos isn't available and Persephone is far too self-righteous.

Also, a quick question: Does your selection of the different missions actually influence the plot, or will Pyro/Charnel always join together?

Righteous.

The plot is largely the same. Good gods vs. bad gods. There's no game path you can take that would make Charnel and Persephone make out in the moonlight. The events are largely the same, but the angle from which you look at it differs quite a bit depending on which god you serve. Consider that I learned something completely new stuff on my 3rd playthrough that I had missed on earlier runs. I'd like to compare it to Pulp Fiction or something similar. You have the same central thing but everyone buggers around and through it in their own unique way.

You know what this game reminds me of for some reason? Giants: Citizen Kabuto.

Anyway, I vote we backstab Charnel now that we've taken his necromantic secrets be going with James.

They're both definitely on the fringe, or how ever you like to say it. Both gave me the feeling of playing something different from the usual fare. It doesn't hurt that both Giants and Sacrifice are bloody awesome games. Sacrifice and Giants are different games though. Giants is a lot more light hearted and tongue in the cheek while Sacrifice is fairly dark (if brightly coloured) overall. It has a few chuckles to break the tension but I never was falling from my seat like I was with Giants.

Speaking of Giants, Armed and Dangerous is a game made by the people who did Giants. The humour is the same and the action is simply gorgeous. You have fully automated weaponry, explosives and plain wierd weapons like the shark gun. If you like your shooters to give you awesome power and not to take themselves too seriously, do yourself a favour and get A&D.
