Yeah, bad roll on the trees.  Two more turns of practice are needed to master the move.  The practice action will take up a whole turn.

If not, just practice for this turn.

((When we are done learning this, I think it would be a good idea to make a sharp rock out of the available ones and use it to carve one of the trees into a training dummy.))

As a compromise, you can do something, and still PRACTICE in the same turn. 

Which means, yeah, you can make the training dummy, and then practice, all in the same turn.
