1st Limestone
We're moving on. We've completed our rooms and almost done with bridge. It feels so great to sleep in your own big room! Its walls are still rough and beds also, but it's the best we could make. When we'll get skilled carpenter, we'll do some replacings.

But when I enter my own room I noticed one of migrants snaping in MY OWN BED!!! I immediately thrown him to the floor and said:
- Listen, I won't be saying it again. You are nobody here. You have nothing. You'll probably die as nobody, if you won't prove your worth. And so - get out of my room and never come back! Nex time I'll greet you with this! - and I showed him my axe. He ran away pale as chalk.

That reminded me of ordering Commoners' cave to be dug. I guess it should be placed somewhere far away, at soil, near farms (by the way - FARMS!!! we're runnig out of plants and drinks!), next to pasture of two water buffalos. Let them enclose it with clay walls, for their safeness... But they won't be idling here anymore! Noble Halls are for Noble Dwarfs!

I just saw a guy with two broken legs push a minecart with a corpse in it. Yeah.

19th Limestone
Another group of four migrants, so our population raised to 15. One of them could be useful, 'case he knows basics of farming, but others are useless. Get out of my sight!!!

12th Timber
Dwarven caravan arrived, as well as liaison. Unfortunately we don't have anything to trade. Next time we'll make some useless crafts for you!

It's a headache to make everyone working!

I would like to be a marksdwarf apprentice under Nix name him Wypie.

He is always hyper and annoys Nix alot.

You want a Commoner, right? 'Cause all unclaimed nobles so far are starting seven, where are no maksdorfs except Nix.
Actually, there are neither marksdorfs, nor crossbows except Nix and his steel one.

Preferably a Noble and I would like to be trained from scratch.

- Leader, we have to talk. - it's Endok Roomcatch, Esquire. He worked most of all of us, I must say
- Yes, Endok? What's he matter?
- I'm tired of hard-working. When we were all alone, I did everything! And now, when we have workers here, I'm still digging and digging AND SO ON!
- Uh.. and what do you want then?
- Be a hunter! A Marksdorf!
- Ok. But you'll have to get equipment yourself. We have neither crossbow, nor quiver, nor bolts! Go ask Nix.
- And don't call me Endok anymore, I always hated this name. Call me Wypie.
Spoiler: Wypie (click to show/hide)

Could I have a commoner, ideally a miner, named Marx, and can he be vehemently against the nobility, when and if he gets to talk.

Here. He's the only miner among Commoners.

1st Moonstone.
We've set trade agreement. In a few words - we need metal bars, anvils and bolts. They need other stuff, I don't remember

Some guy of Commoners, Marx, spreads varoius rebel parchments againist me and other fellow Nobles. Not like I give a fuck about it.

Spring has come!
Hothing really happened here. Nix hunted down two yaks and one mountain goat. Wypie made himsef quiver, crossbow, ordered a few pack of wooden bolts and also left hunting.

Winterdirge made several statues. Mostly about Kadol, goddess of crafts, metals and mountains. On these statues Kadol, depicted as hoary marmot, working, comtemptating and triumphing. Winterdirge is prostrating himself before her.

I think it's time to show some pictures of fortress' layout
This is the main gate and bridge over lava.

It's Wypie walking over bridge, and.. he carries killed yak!!! wow, it's hard to kill yak with wooden bolts only.

this is Noble quarters, one level up.

One more level up, another noble quarters:

Alse here's noble food storage. Descent drinks and prepared food for us!
And statues of Kadol.
And at leftmost bedroom you see Winterdirge prostrating himself before statue of Winterdirge, prostrating himself before Kadol.

And one more level up, anothe noble quarters.

As for commoners, they dwell at the bottom of mountain:

And working zone just below their cave

3rd Felsite
Oh, finally, large herd of migrants! 18 newcomers, and various animals with them. We should start milkings and making cheese of them!
Acteally there are a lot of useful workers. Miner, mason/engraver, beekeeper, architect.. also there are some guys that could go to militia - if they were nobles, of course. But if they kill dangerous animal... ok, I'd consider them to be worthy. But the only wild animal here is yakm who isn't too dangerous, despite his size. If it was epephant, then, maybe...

Ok, you, newcomers, go down your cave and work hard!

OOC:
Shit, I ruined whole backstory. We're not members of The Wall of Riddling with epic night creature quarrel, but of Gold Of Dangers instead  >:( With nohing unusual in their story except for several wars with elves.
Should I give up and restart? I think I do!

nah.
Sad, but true.
Everyone remain dorfed. Not sure about Marx, since he insisted on being Commoner.. Ok, let him be Noble who's on Commoner's side.

*worn tattered book with parchment shets, filled with old-styled runes. Runes of the book reads - "Attack Mirrors. Settlement at the gates of Doom."

1st Granite
I am Gar Wushmistem, that means 'Heatportal', starting this records upon our arrival at The Waxy Ash's feet. Just before we left, I had strange conversation with King Etur Gearpower. He told me about strange place - the volcano Waxy Ash, and even gave me some sketches of it, that's more strange, as no one of us hasn't ever been here. But sketches are quite accurate as we see now, upon arrival.

So, we're here to build outpost, train military and await other orders.

Thus, we're starting. Strike the earth! Thus begins the glory of AttackMirrors!

1st Hematite
We've dug most of our quaters. We decided not to follow those sketches so accurate, but maintain the base lines. Say, nobles rooms are still 2 levels above entrance, and worker's quarters will be down there.

I had some time to read King's notes he gave me.. it's all about a group of dwarves of neighbor dwarven kingdom, Gold of Dangers, who conqure exacly this place... Not saying they do any better, but the place is described clear to every tiny piece. That's strange. Who gave him so accurate description of this place?

Ok, go on working! We'll do some digging and building!

6th Timber.
With all this digging ang building we've ran out of food and drinks. Water and rat hunting instead. Hope this strenghten our spirits!

We have a legendary stonecrafter, Atir Silverychews. I've ordered her quarters to be dug and set up.

1st Moonstone
Just before winter came we've traded with caravan, and now are save from starvation. Also we got some items, anvils and trap components that are to be melted to metal bars.

Some real action finally!

21st Obsidian
- Sir? - Tobul Rosywheeler, Soapmaker, interrupted me from paperwork
- Yes?
- I heard a cry of angry badger down there.

- So? You're afraid? -Oh, pussies - Don't worry, as soon as we finish the palisade...
- AFRAID?! Sir, you're insulting me! I'd dispatch that one with bare hands naked and tangled! I...
- So, you want to be soldier? I misjudged you. You're right kind of dwarves we need here! I offer you a deal then. You kill that beast naked, as you said, but not with bare hands. You can take any weapon and a shield. And if you do, you'll get personal room and join military. Deal?
- Sure sir! When should I do the job?
- As soon as be ready.
... Few hours later..
- Are you ready, Tobul?
- YES, SIR!
- Huh.. Do you think this equipment will give you more chance?

- Sure sir. I want this fight to be spectacular show!
- Ok. Go ahead!
... Few hours more
- Tobul? did you kill it?
- NO SIR! It ecaped! But I found group of anoter migratns. 24 units.
- Twenty four?!?! Oh... So, Tobu, no kills, no military. You have to wait for another chance
- Ooooooh... yes, sir....

25 Granite.
We've breached the cavern! It's flooded with undergound sea, with strange beasts in it

- Tobul! You've got your another chance! Any of these two beasts is in count.
- YES, SIR!
- Tell me, why did you take this clay lump?

- I... don't know, I just feel i will need it!
- Ok, go ahead!

As for migrants, they seems quite useful. Except for one thing - no one of them know a bit about mechanics!

12th Slate
Tobul still hunting for that cave crocodile. First he cursed him from the shore of underground sea, then he tried to bait him... now he's just staring at the water where crocodile is swimming in circles.

13th Felsite

- Tobul, did you kill it?
- No, sir... It escaped. Both escaped.

Other news - we've struck tetrahedrite! at least we have metal for bolts, helms and hammers.

18th Felsite
Today we've spotted the snatcher! It ran away before we could catch him.
