Construct a temporary dam, flood the river and drown the invading army. How would the nations downstream like it when their entire army comes floating downstream, with no visible slashing, burning, magicking wounds. Also, knights and other armoured soldiers don't float.
The Bar actually flows quite sedately through a glacial valley; a flood would not be all that disastrous, and building a dam across it would take a while.

Must have missed that. Follow the other suggestions in that case.

-Teach Alyshtr how to heal mum, and let her do it herself. you may or may not help.

-Trap the Nukemaw in a valley, with possibilty of quick release if needed. make sure prisoners enjoy being digested, but not boba fett our cultists (beware arms' reach, and evasion).
I'd like to reserve its use for gods-blessed (cant say goddamned...) Culloden. (at the crucial moment, when town is ravaged and nukemaw before the last priests, appear and laugh "where's your gods, now?"

-create more sintaurs, summon black imps for riders, and mount Fleshwood Impalers on the sintaurs, manned by the imp. enjoy.

-spies should spread truth and lies alike to tell the king is kind of mad, and deal with both rebellion in akataki and beastmens invasion (but no demon, that's legends...)

-mad flames work on support magic.

-concentrate darkcall on demons.

For the Titaneghoul, we should trap it, and feed it Akatree flesh. (That's what we made them for.)

I think that we should give our consort enough strength to overcome her madness. It could be an educational experience for Alyshtr! Father-Daughter bonding time! "How cute, they're rebuilding the fractured mind of her mother! Awwww... "

To make some more fodder units, I would bind spectres to suits of armour. These suits of armour would be almost impervious from non-magical damage, and it would be pretty bad for an opponent's moral to fight a faceless suit of metal that cannot be cut by steel. Also we could use some more variety in our armies of Uruk-hai Ghouls and Imps.

And +1 to:
-spies should spread truth and lies alike to tell the king is kind of mad, and deal with both rebellion in akataki and beastmens invasion (but no demon, that's legends...)

+1 to this.

Personally support drving the titaneghoul downriver to lay waste amongst the good people but I don't mind either way.

I dislike that spectres in armour idea, Do we really need another heavy infantry? Spectres on other hand, pretty different to all other forces

War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.

We need some kind of cheap, common cannon fodder.

Can we animate trees? There's an abudant supply and we can light them on fire to scare cavalery.

I was thinking about the less scarce, normal trees but that could work to.
Escpecially if we can animate them in such a way that they turn some of their kills into new trees.

seed-planting tentacles. the seed feed on corspes and grow a new fleshtree. plus, animating flesh is way easier: it has muscles.

Zombies? Skeletons? Armed Cultists? Ghouls? Imps? Amberashs? Earth elementals?

Speaking of ents, why don't we do living trees, Old Man Willow style?

Also, to the west, you would be well advised to keep an eye there. Something good is coming. Prepare by keeping some troops to the west, if this does cross over, this will not end well.

What? No, don't be ridiculous. You would notice if there was some great force of Good coming, in the same way that a force of good would notice you coming.
You have no doubt that there are a few errant angels and demons scuffing it out somewhere in the world, but you detect no mighty angels near you.

DO NOT METAGAME
Really, don't ruin the game

Also, this game wouldn't be less fun if great good comes and kills us, remember how many times Sauron was defeated and "killed"?

Zombies+ skeletons= can't make more of these whitout bodies
Armed cultist= Not much humans availble to convert
Ghouls= See zombies
Imps: These are more specialized troops, rather then cheap cannon fodder
Earth elementals: I dunno about those, probably to much energy required in summoning.

What I didn't mean is that we hadn't got any cannon fodder, but that we hadn't enough.
Also, I think we should enlarge our cavelery (Sintaurs) and give them ranged weapons.
