This is a horrible idea, and I shouldn't bring it up, but... We can breed an army. We just need to capture as many women as possible, and set some cultists as caretakers. We've already proven the theory.

Hey this thread already has gratuitous amounts of violence ( acceptable ), torture ( less acceptable ), incest ( okay, creepy, but not ban-worthy ), etc.  If we order the mass rape of women just to build a bloody army...

Know that we also have another priority. Back in Barrspring. Unless I missed something.

Edit: Note that one of the Barrtal Monster Hunters still lives, driven away by an unknown messenger.

He will learn about this, one way or the other, unless we find him.

Also, in time, the other Hunter Guilds may notice a communication loss with the Barrtals, I guess.

That why I think we should go to Akataki and leave our new cultists alone.  We gave them huge power already, let's not babysit them, it's not a job for a demon.

I'll try again :)

1) Turn 17 slaves into Ghouls, use 14 captives as a source of energy
2) Teach acolytes how to raise Amberärshs
3) Let them use 30 existing Amberärshs
4) Order cultist to gather resources, escpecially weapons and animals for creating Amberärshs
5) Take all our ghouls and spectres and attack Akataki, with 24 ghouls and 10 spectres we can do it, cause we can create new undeads from all that killed townsfolk

It's a good longtime strategy, let's clear the land between 2 branches of our cult

and people to use weapons.

ponder how much kills per minion you need to create a new minion using the power coming from the previous one's victims' horrible death.


I think we should let the cult grow by itself, focusing on new members, new undeads, and expanding the catacombs. All staying undercover as much as possible.

How much will cost the adding of a little special effect on the Ghouls so that they look like Amberärshs? I'm just talking about ember-looking flesh there. It'll be the Amberghüls. :D

I don't like the fact that slaves are not good in combat, if acolytes can control our slaves  without our presense, then I think it wouuld be better to leave them in asylum

I think cult needs some combat power, too. But after some thought I agree that personal safety is more important.  Amberärshs should come with us

Well, your current lot are scarred and burnt already. You could make it so all the Ghouls you make are burnt as well, and possibly give them a slight resistance to fire- that wouldn't change the cost.

Oh, fine, then I propose a new plan

1) Eat 14 captives
2) Teach acolytes how to raise Amberärshs
3)   gift all our slaves to cultists
4) Order cultist to: ( in order of priority)
a) gather resources, escpecially weapons and animals for creating Amberärshs
b) Arm themselves
c) Create Amberärshs
d) recruit new members\capture new slaves
e) worship us a bit

and 5) Take all our servants and go to Akataki, then we decide how to attack

I'm all for breeding ourselves an army, perhaps another "champion" for this branch as well.

But I still think we need some flying minions.
1) they can scout/attack at longer range than our current followers.
2) provided they don't glow they will be almost impossible to track at night. (any halfway decent tracker will be able to follow the attacks of our current followers right back to the fortress if they havn't done so already.)

the asylum is an old medieval building does it happen to have gargole statues as old medieval buildings often do? if so we could annimate them.
or how about instead of mutating someone we sacrifice them and use the power to summon something using the skeletons of the sacrificed to give the creatures structure?

two sacrificed victims per flying humanoid monster.
one forms the human base, the other is broken apart to add the extra features arms/legs and skin create the wings, added spine for a tail, finger/toe bones added to the current hands/feet to make longer Claws. extra rib bones turned into body spines and horns. the second skull perhaps placed into the chest cavity to act as a storehouse for magic (to aid flight) or as the anchor for the summoning.
then summoning a spirit into the new form should take less energy as none would be needed giving it form. hopefully one that wouldn't make it glow bright enough to be visible at night. mabe just an ASH spirit for some flaming eyes and fire powers leaving the body dark ash and charred bones.

Done right then ether all the energy from the sacrifices would go right back to the creature's creation requiring no extra power from us, or in a best case scenario we get a small amount back depending upon how efficient the creation process is. (we should be able to improve our skill at creating them as we go along.)



Also some horses to create those centaur creatures (vote on naming them Sintaurs.), those were badass and I'd hate to see that awesome pic go to waste.

However I still don't our think our army is strong enough to attack Akataki, perhaps we should consider taking over the mines at Barrspring. that would give us both a source of Iron ore. and some haunted mines to draw attention away from the fortress.

 The captives should perhaps be separated into male/female groups sacrifice or mutate the men and force impregnate the women. could just make that the standard Operating procedure from here on out, sort of a P-R-B combo (pillage, rape, burn.)
is it just me or does the bay12 forums bring out EVIL ideas?  :P

the slaves, any not serving as fake monster hunters should be ether mutated or sacrificed to create ghouls or the above flying minion


TLDR version: breed an army, make flying skeletons, attack ether Akataki or the mines at Barrspring for iron.
names ÄRSHBONES, and SINTAURS suggested for the Skeletons, horse/centaur respectively.

Exactly. Though if we can lure, kidnap or trick children into joining our cause, we'd have a steady influx of the most devout, trained and indoctrinated cultists possible. Future cult leaders perhaps?

I say NO to breeding.
I'm not very fond of the Sintaurs personnally, but I whole-heartfully approve the Ärshbones.

Make some, teach the Madflames the ways of minions-creating, give them a three-people counsil to rule (with a fourth in the shadow, unknown of all others, which role is to prevent disorder (the idea is if counsil members are fighting, the Shadow member will rise and wipe them, installing a new counsil (and we name a new Shadow)) and weakness (same there). Thus respecting also the Rule of Four.)

Then, if nothing interesting happen, head back in the general direction of Barrspring with most minions, randomly rasing villages in the way. But we stop before people notice where we head. Maybe turning in another direction while rampaging, then stop the killing and sneak to Barrspring.

Then, begin to corrupt the mines, and haunt them with Amberghüls and spectres. fill the iron with EVIL. May it never be used for good (okay, this may be too much, but it's the general idea).

And, bonus, we'll be on the right place for our girl's birth (say 2 month rampaging, 1 corrupting the mines).
